Brides like , who trusted me implicitly to take her ideas and turn them into a design that truly reflects her love story.⁠
⁠
Her draped cape combined pattern work inspired by the flowers on her dress, with a secret rose to represent her Nan 🌹. As Charlie shared in her enquiry:⁠

“All the women on my mother’s side of the family have the middle name Rose, passed down by my Nan. We lost her this time last year and we all wear little gold bracelets with a rose on, as well as have rose tattoos. I thought it would be a really special way to incorporate her into the day.”⁠
⁠
We also bookended her design with a hand and hook motif – a clever little nod to her maiden name and married name.⁠
⁠

For her wedding to Collins in Kefalonia, Bee chose a personalised two-tier ribbon-edge wedding veil with the poem embroidered in black across the tulle, almost as if they were inked in handwriting directly onto her veil. She wanted those words to become part of the wedding itself and a key feature of her bridal styling.⁠
⁠
The stylised ribbon edge framed the flowing script beautifully, allowing the poem to remain the focus.⁠

This bride wanted to honour the women who came before her.⁠

We found a way to turn four simple flowers into something only she would fully understand.⁠
⁠
We chose four birth flowers, each representing a different generation of women in her family, and wove them into a single embroidered design.⁠
⁠
To everyone else, they looked like a beautiful floral border.⁠
⁠
To her, they were four generations walking beside her as she made her way down the aisle.⁠
⁠

It was such an honour to create this personalised embroidered wedding veil for my industry friend Lou, the brilliant wedding videographer behind .⁠

The volume suited her bubbly personality perfectly, while a daisy represented Lou and Will’s daughter and a line from “their song”, “I’m so happy to be stuck with you”, was stitched along the bottom edge.⁠
