Samhain is the witch’s new year, a sacred thinning of the veil when the physical world and the spirit realm intertwine. Falling between sunset on October 31 and sunset on November 1, this ancient Celtic festival marks the final harvest and the onset of winter’s darkness.

🍁Merry Meet 🍁

The wheel of the year keeps moving and we now find ourselves on the eve of Mabon and the Autumn Equinox

What is Mabon?

Mabon marks the autumnal equinox, where day and night are exactly equal in length. It marks the official arrival of Autumn.
It is a time to pause and find balance in your own life.

Mabon is the 2nd of the Harvest festivals & celebrates gathering the last fruits, apples, and grains before the frost arrives.

It is a spiritual moment to give thanks for the blessings of the year, reflect on what you have learned, and prepare for winter’s rest.

If you attended our Pause & Pamper event on September 3rd you may have purchased a Mabon Simmer Spell, today and tomorrow are the ideal time to use it or to create your own.

Keep an eye on our stories for more simple Mabon ritual suggestions for this magical turn of the wheel 🍁
