Held a Christmas Wreath work shop this month the Epicurean Lounge, what a great evening!
Met some lovely people and they all made fabulous, individual wreaths for their front doors.

It’s been a different year for home grown cut flowers.
During the summer they stayed away due to the heat, now in October they are are still going.
These are the last I will pick for 2025. Still looking gorgeous after a week in the house. 💞

A nod to autumn at the front door.

Our basket of gourds were grown from 1 packet of seeds, we couldn’t believe how many grew!

We have so many we have shared them and also hollowed them out and made bird feeders.

Love the colours 💚💛

Two bunches of garden flowers picked for yesterday 💐

Sadly, I’m nearly at the end of my season. This year the hot weather gave me fewer blooms ☀️ and now this weeks rain has given the plot a good bashing 🌧️

A huge thank you to everyone who supports me. I love growing British, pesticide-free flowers and doing my little bit for the planet 🌍💚

(Already thinking about Christmas wreaths 😮)

Sustainable Fairwell Flowers

I’ve created this example of Farewell Flowers using blooms straight from my own garden, just to show how beautiful garden flowers can be.
No travel miles. No chemicals. No plastic. No floral foam (which is so harmful to the environment).
Every part is completely compostable. 🌿

Farewell Flowers can even include blooms from a loved one’s own garden, making them deeply personal and full of meaning.

If you love seasonal garden arrangements and would like to discuss a bespoke display, DM me.

I went along to Sapcote Memory Hub this week, where they are brilliant at enriching the lives of those living with dementia.

I took in a selection of foliage, flowers, and a variety of fragrant herbs. The lovely visitors created their own arrangements to take home , each one wonderful.

Thank you Sapcote Memory Hub CIC, I had a great time.

I cut these flowers first thing Thursday, only to discover Friday morning when I went to arrange them, that they weren’t in the garage… I’d left them outside! 😮 And with how hot it was 🥵 I honestly thought they’d be totally ruined.

No idea how they have survived, but they did… just about. Although not at their best.

This has definitely reminded me to keep flowers away from direct sunlight and in winter, away from radiators, so they last and look fresher for longer.
