DJ Senior goes to Latitude!
New flag flying high above the campsite. Just been asked if I'm playing anywhere this weekend. If only...! 🎧

So I was asked by our payroll system provider, Octopaye, to put a Spotify playlist together for their regular Octoplay series. Of course the DJ in me had to mix the 12 tunes together.

You can find my 30 minute mix over on Soundcloud:

Great to be asked to take part in Octopaye's weekly Octoplay session. As well as the Spotify playlist featured below, I also put together a 30 minute continuous mix of the same 12 tunes, over on Soundcloud (no login needed): https://lnkd.in/eeYpHDux

Holmer Green. Second gig of 2026 last night, and gig #20 overall since I started this less than 2 years ago.

I've learned a lot, made mistakes, discovered some great tunes, mixed some belters, and had some strange requests. But nothing beats having a full dance floor for 3 hours and everyone chanting 'one more song!' at the end. With apologies to the bar staff (again!) for just playing that 'one more song'!!

✨ A Night in Wonderland - a unique perspective! ✨

Last Friday, I had the incredible opportunity to DJ at the Munnelly Group Awards Night, and what a great night it was!

The event was Alice in Wonderland-themed, and the creativity was off the charts. From the mind-bending optical illusion dance floor to the enchanting characters – Alice herself, Tweedle Dum & Tweedle Dee, the Mad Hatter, the Cheshire Cat, and even a Card Guard – the room was full of magic and energy.

The dance floor stayed alive, and it was amazing to see everyone come together to celebrate in such a unique setting. Huge thanks to everyone for showing up and putting on such a spectacular event!

There are photos of just 9 musicians on the wall in my study, Mani is one of them, in a still from this performance.

The first two Stone Roses gigs I saw in 1989 would rank in my top 10 of all time, the first one just 13 days after the debut album was released - and that's is still my all time favourite 36 years later.

Such sad news.

Exactly this! It's why I consume so much music. It's all in the name of RESEARCH - finding those hidden gems we didn't know we needed.

You can have all the clever tricks and techniques, but ultimately it's about choosing the right next record.
