Heywood Civic is getting ready to open its doors again in February 2026.

We are holding a Recruitment Day to meet people who may be interested in working with us, so you can find out more about the roles available and be part of this exciting new chapter.

• Multiskilled Theatre Technicians

• Cleaning staff

Your new and improved Heywood Civic is almost ready to open its doors to you with a brand-new season of theatre, music, dance, family shows and more, all on sale now through our shiny new website.

Over the next few months we'll be confirming more exciting details of your refreshed building, including the new Civic Bar + Kitchen, a daytime programme of workshops and classes to enhance your well-being, and spaces to hire for your events.

Your Trust is much more than leisure centres and cultural venues!

We're proud to welcome over 1 million visitors to our venues annually.

As the guardians of high-quality leisure centres, Hollingworth Lake Adventure and Water Activity Centre, Touchstones Rochdale, Local Arts Resource Centre, Local Studies and events venues at Middleton Arena and Heywood Civic Centre, we are able to offer these exciting spaces that truly provide something for everyone.
