Lyde Court is a romantic 17th Century stone barn in an idylic rural location. Lyde Court dates back to the 14th Century and is part of the vast Duchy of Cornwall Estate. It is set in a private and isolated Herefordshire valley, yet is astonishingly only 2 miles from Hereford City centre. It is the perfect spot for a family wedding. Our Weddings take place in the our Main Barn which is adjacent to the main house and gardens. The 17th Century Stone Barn has undergone minimal changes in 400 years and is completely unspoilt. It has solid stone walls which are two feet thick, arrow slit windows and exposed timbers.

Slow-cooked pork, carved and served with crisp crackling, apple sauce, gravy on request, freshly prepared salads made by hand in our kitchen, and soft rolls from our local bakery, the Laughing Bloomer .

Simple, generous, properly good food — perfect for gathering everyone together again as the evening gets into full swing. A firm favourite here at Lyde Court, and a lovely way to keep your guests well fed long into the night.

ABI & CAM ❤️💘🪩🐆🩵

It was a pleasure styling Abi & Cam’s wedding! I’ve ever been to before & it was so much fun to add some colour to the venue! ✌🏼

Abi & Cam were actually in art college with me, so it was lush to work with them on their wedding day. Who would have thought all those years ago, I’d be doing this job & would be styling their wedding all these years later, lil’ full circle moment for me 🩷

It was a fun mix of red, pinks, baby blues & a touch of leopard print! We used neon signs as the table names, fun Vegas inspired table plan signage, cupid placenames & streamers to fill the barn ceiling! 🤏🏼💘
