EDAPT Charity Challenge

As part of our ongoing charity support activities, we’re taking on Trailwalker - a 100km team endurance event across the South Downs - raising funds for the Gurkha Welfare Trust.

We currently have 6 veterans signed up and would love to enter 2 teams of 4.

If you’re a veteran and fancy a proper challenge, camaraderie and purpose, we’d love you to join us. We are also after a further 2 veterans as part of our Admin team.

📍 Event: 11-13 September 2026
🥾 Multiple team training days planned in the lead-up
💪 All abilities welcome it’s about teamwork, not speed
🎗 Minimum sponsorship target: £1,200 per team

We have now registered a team for Trailwalker. (Hopefully no spinal surgery or TIAs prevent us from attending this year)

Trailwalker is a team event consisting of four participants per team. We currently have five individuals interested and would ideally like to enter two teams. If there are a further three veterans who would like to take on the challenge, please do get in touch.

The entry fee is £50 per person, with a fundraising commitment of £300 per individual (£1,200 per team). EDAPT Adventures will also be organising fundraising activities to help support this target.

Each team will require a dedicated support crew due to the length of the event, with a minimum of two support members per team to assist throughout the day.

Working hard behind the scenes to stay organised 💻

The last 36hrs hours have been a bit of an eye-opener into the world of IT management. From setting up a collaborative Workspace & SharePoint for the team to transferring domains and emails, it’s definitely been a learning curve!

After plenty of perseverance, getting things wrong (and a lot of head-scratching), 🥴 everything is now up and running.

We’ve also taken the opportunity to strengthen our security, so our customers can be confident their data is being handled safely and securely.💪

And… breathe.
