How do you feel about coming to the end of the season?
My Dahlias are still blooming but I can see they’re beginning to weaken. I can’t sell them with the confidence I was a couple of weeks ago. For me, it’s the stark transition from the glorious, sun-filled summer months into the rainy, dark winter ones. But.. there’s winter and Christmas and all it entails: foliage, decorations, gifts and festivities. I particularly love wreath making workshops and decorating the house. The smell of Christmas foliage and mince pies!! Then, spring bulbs and the promise of warmer weather to come. We all adjust and seasons are there to remind us that everything has its moment.

It’s time to get your very last orders in for this season’s flowers.
This is the longest I’ve known the summer season’s flowers to keep going but, I strongly suspect, there’s only a couple of weeks left now. So, order your last bunch or bouquet now. I’m spacing them out over the next two weeks as they are slowing right down.

I will have Winter bulbs and Christmas Wreaths available, followed by spring flowers so please keep watching and get your orders in ASAP please.
