Our final special guest this year is ANTHONY JOHN CLARKE. AJ is one of the most popular performers on the folk scene. His Irish sense of humour is to the fore, while many of his songs can touch all of us. He MCs every year at Cropreddy festival, and he often tours with Fairport’s Dave Pegg. On Saturday 2nd he will be joined on stage by his wife JULIA PORTER on keyboards and vocals.

Colum Sands makes a welcome return to our festival this year. Hailing from Rostrevor County Down he is of course part of the world famous Sands Family. As a solo performer Colum is one of the best Irish storytellers, and his songs, while often very humorous, usually have a message or meaning that can touch us all. He will be headlining our evening concert on Friday 1st November.

One of our special guests this year is SARAH LANG from Dublin. She has been a huge supporter of our festival for many years, singing and playing her fiddle all weekend in our music sessions. This year we decided to give Sarah a well deserved slot in the main programme, and you can catch her on Friday 1st November in the village hall. She will be accompanied by three other festival stalwart from Ayrshire, Dominic, Davy and Harvey.
