Snippets of life lately 🌸 from private workshops, wedding showcases, poly tunnel upgrades (thanks Ollie!) and studio scenes - there’s been plenty going on behind the scenes 💞

And with all the warm weather over the last few weeks, the flowers have been blooming in full force! Especially the tulips 🌷

It’s such a treat to be able to use the stems we’ve been growing in my designs, especially seeing the reactions to the unique flowers that people may not have seen before - the disbelief that these beautiful flowers are daffodils or tulips for instance, and the awe of their beauty 🙌🏻

There’s more to update you on very soon, with exciting plans in place! But for now, it’s a bit of hard and unglamorous work behind the scenes to pull it all together. Wish us luck! 🤞🏻

Little treats from March 🤍 a month filled with those initial signs of Spring that are so needed at the time!

The daffodils, the early blossom, the snowdrops - delicate treasures that pull us out of that long Winter. As they fade, new varieties bloom, which is one of my biggest joys in working with flowers, with the constant changes keeping me on my toes! 🌼

Creating this dreamy mandap was all about embracing the beauty of natural floral design, with a contemporary edge.

Lush seasonal greenery formed a natural, organic frame that felt as though it had grown effortlessly, complementing the serene garden setting 🌿

The florals added that perfect touch of romance, with blousy reflexed roses and abundant hydrangeas adding colour and depth to the design.

February’s finest 🤍 snowdrops have been such a welcome sight recently; those little signs of hope for warmer, longer days.

Is it just me or is this winter dragging on and on? 😮‍💨 I’m longing to be holding beautiful stems like these now!

I know this winter feels longer than ever to me because of how many beautiful flowers we will be growing this year, and I’m itching to see them! Patience is not something that comes too naturally with me, but it definitely goes hand in hand with growing, so it’s something I’m getting used to 🌱

A little update from me; while I’ve been quiet on here, I’m busy behind the scenes, finalising designs for my couples this year, and feeling so inspired to get creating and bring their visions to life ✨

I’m back in the studio over the next few days (after what feels like an age!) creating beautiful bouquets to celebrate love for Valentine’s 💞 and I’m very much going to be enjoying getting my hands on flowers again 🌸

Finding beauty in January 🤍 I often look to the hedgerows around our fields for inspiration, and this time of year most will agree that it can be a little bleak!

But if you look close enough, you will always find some treasures. For me, it’s berried ivy. It’s not only a great foliage, but if you delicately remove the leaves you’re left with a beautiful berried stem, making it a thing of beauty!

Accompanied by catkins to create all the height and shape, expanding in the warmth as they’re bought inside.

So whilst we wait for the flowers to bloom over the next few months, it’s always good to notice what’s around us right now, reflecting this slow time of the year perfectly 🤍

A truly scrumptious tablescape 🍓🍇

Placing fruit and veg amongst your florals is a wonderful way to enhance key colours, add to the aesthetic, and fill any negative space without the table becoming too busy.

Plus, they’re a great little snack for guests 😉😋

Here I used strawberries, plums and grapes to enhance the deeper pink hues within the floral arrangements, whilst adding a more playful aesthetic to the table ✨

We are busy behind the scenes, planting out some of our Autumn sown plant babies! 🌱

We have been plotting and planning, working to our growing schedule for the year ahead. Considering our weddings and events, alongside choosing flowers that we simply love and want lots of!

The poly tunnel is filling up with ranunculus, anemones, sweet peas, just to name a few - whilst outside our tulips and narcissi are getting ready to make an appearance very soon!
