💍💙🍁 For me, autumn weddings are the Best!
Warm but not scorching, less rainy than midsummer (yes, really), and there's somehow a more relaxed feel as the season changes.

💍💙🍁 Today was L&Es wedding, on the anniversary of the day they met (no excuses for forgetting!) - with perfectly warm weather and a chilled atmosphere.

💍💙🍁 The day had confetti bubbles 🫧, a chalice toast 🥂, I spy photo challenge 📸, and a paws up of approval from the couple's dogs who were witnesses on their certificate, and featured, along with the couple, at the temp tattoos station 🐾

💍 I love when couples want to make their guests part of the ceremony, whether it's traditional, themed, or alternative.
💍 I've had weddings with ring warming, wishing stones, rope tugs, family cheerleaders, pets of honour, surprise speeches, group vows, guest paintings, elemental bearers, guess the song lyrics, even a scene of crime fingerprinting!
💍 It's what reflects your personality to shape your day, your way.
💍 Today, I arrived early to hide rings and other surprise things 🤫

🌳 Something rather special & lovely happening this Sunday.

A huge thank you to everyone at The canopy for welcoming me today as part of the Sunday Assembly NE Lincs Show & Tell. 💚

I was given just two minutes to talk about the Jen's Den fundraiser... and anyone who knows me knows that keeping it to two minutes was probably the biggest challenge of the day! 😂 I was told afterwards I'd managed it in 2 minutes and 3 seconds, so I'll happily take that as a win!

It was a wonderful opportunity to share a little about the fundraiser, which is taking place next Sunday from 1pm to 4pm, and to tell people a bit about Jen's Den Nature Retreat and what we're building here. It was especially lovely that so many people came over afterwards to ask more about what we do and how we're supporting the community.

A huge thank you as well to everyone who bought raffle tickets today. Together you raised an amazing £80, which is incredible. Every penny will go straight back into creating more opportunities for people to connect with nature and each other.

🏍️ D&C celebrated 20 years of marriage with a relaxed renewal of vows at a hog roast garden party with family & friends.

🏍️ After guests 'warmed' the rings with their best wishes, they were re-presented over the motorbike!
