💙 Good to know - end-of-life doula support nearby.

Hey everyone, just wanted to say here’s a little reminder about the support offered by Soul Midwives.

As a Soul Midwife i offer non-medical holistic care, comfort and support for anyone facing end of life, and their families, friends and carers. This includes supporting the very difficult conversations around end of life choices and decisions, which is so important at this particular time.

Although the advice we give is non-medical, we are able to offer simple but very effective techniques to help people relax, including breathing strategies and energy work. We also work in relation to the emotional and psycho-spiritual aspects of end of life, and again this is of great potential benefit to families during this current crisis.

🌳 Something rather special & lovely happening this Sunday.

A huge thank you to everyone at The canopy for welcoming me today as part of the Sunday Assembly NE Lincs Show & Tell. 💚

I was given just two minutes to talk about the Jen's Den fundraiser... and anyone who knows me knows that keeping it to two minutes was probably the biggest challenge of the day! 😂 I was told afterwards I'd managed it in 2 minutes and 3 seconds, so I'll happily take that as a win!

It was a wonderful opportunity to share a little about the fundraiser, which is taking place next Sunday from 1pm to 4pm, and to tell people a bit about Jen's Den Nature Retreat and what we're building here. It was especially lovely that so many people came over afterwards to ask more about what we do and how we're supporting the community.

A huge thank you as well to everyone who bought raffle tickets today. Together you raised an amazing £80, which is incredible. Every penny will go straight back into creating more opportunities for people to connect with nature and each other.

🏍️ D&C celebrated 20 years of marriage with a relaxed renewal of vows at a hog roast garden party with family & friends.

🍋 Kris & Lou brought a taste of the Italian coast - and l💛ts of lemons - to Lincolnshire for their wedding.

🍋 Lemon trees and pretty arches, twinkly lights and sparkulers, and the sound of an accordion playing in the background... ahh...

🍋 To celebrate sharing the same family name, their little girl placed ribbons across mum & dad's hands before they tied the knot 🪢
