Greetings everyone,

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to each and every one of you who attended the Oldies Night in Manchester. Your presence truly made the event special.

The night was vibrant, full of color, laughter, and incredible energy. It was wonderful to see everyone enjoying themselves, dancing, and reconnecting through the timeless music that brought back so many fond memories. The atmosphere was electric, and the music was simply amazing, a perfect blend of nostalgia and joy. Special thanks to Deejay Wasswa 🎊.

The crowd made the evening memorable. Thank you once again for coming out and being part of such a fantastic celebration and support.

Also alternatively spelled Kassav, is a French Caribbean band that originated from Guadeloupe in 1979.
The band's musical style is rooted in the Guadeloupean gwoka rhythm, as well as the Martinican tibwa and Mendé rhythms.

Regarded as one of the most influential bands in 20th-century French West Indies music, Kassav is often credited with pioneering and popularizing the Zouk Musical genre.
Their musical evolution is a Synthesis of Cadence-lypso and compas traditions.

While their music is not widely popular in the English-speaking market due to the language barrier, it has achieved significant success within the French Caribbean and internationally.

"Oulé" is a song by the French Caribbean band Kassav'. It appears on their 1989 album Majestik Zouk.

The song is titled "Ou Lé" which translates to "Would You Like?" from Guadeloupean Creole. Kassav' is a band formed in Guadeloupe with members of both Guadeloupean and Martinican ancestry, and they sing primarily in a localized version of French Creole.
Their music, deeply rooted in gwo ka (Caribbean folkloric drumming and chanting), often incorporates synthesized sounds and is known for its danceable, carnival-like atmosphere.
