From the moment you arrive, the park’s open green lawns and shady corners will be alive with lively performances, pack a blanket and enjoy the activities and a bustling Food Market showcasing the best in local artisan food and crafts.
Lose yourself in the rhythms of Ceilidh Tree, London’s favourite folk and ceilidh band, as expert callers lead you through Scottish reels, Irish jigs and English barn dances, plus playful Pirate shanties and Bollywood-flavoured mash-ups that’ll have everyone on their feet. Then let the Keynotes Gospel Choir wash over you with powerhouse gospel, pop and R&B harmonies, honed on stages from the BBC to Wembley, in an uplifting set guaranteed to fill the air with unity and joy. Overhead, AirCraft Circus artists defy gravity in aerial hoop and tight-wire feats, while ground-level workshops invite you to try your hand at hula hooping, juggling and plate spinning under expert guidance. In between, don’t miss the Elephant and the Drummer, the heart-warming story of Elnaz the elephant, too big to dance until her friend Dholli returns with a colourful drum and a message of friendship, self-acceptance and the magic of music.
For creative souls of all ages, Sally McKay’s Free Drawing Project offers open-ended sketching and clay modelling sessions that encourage imagination without limits, no prior art experience required. If you’d rather test your sporting skills, Twistfizz Short-Tennis Coaching provides fun, fast-paced lessons perfect for every level of budding tennis player. And when you need a tasty refuel, meander through our Producers Market by CC EVENTS to savour gourmet street eats, pick up handcrafted treasures or sip a locally roasted coffee.
