Believe it or not… Christmas bookings have already begun, so here is this year’s Christmas Buffet Menu 🎅

Our diary is already filling up for November and December, with 13th November fully booked, along with 23rd–29th November.

As Christmas is one of our busiest times of year, all November and December bookings will only be secured once the booking deposit has been received. Unfortunately, we’re unable to hold dates without a deposit. 😊

If you’re planning a work Christmas party, family get-together or festive celebration, get in touch early to secure your date. 🎄

The skinny sausgaes are starting to run low! It might be due to the fact the staff have been flinging out buy one get 3 free, and potentially the regulars feeling sorry for us, resulting in a sausage swap.... but stock is depleting nonetheless.

I hate to break it to you, but I suspect you only have approximately 1 day to get your hands on these fantastic, tasty, worth every penny sausages 👍

Errmm.....one may have ordered the wrong sausgaes and we now have a fridge full of chipolata sausges.

So today on your breakfast you have a choice. Skinny sausges or fat sausges. While stocks last 🤦‍♀️

Well… we were supposed to be saying goodbye to Little Diners after this coming week, but we've changed our mind.

We've had parents bringing in their toddlers, families popping in, and even groups of young teens coming in on their own to order their lunch.

So… Little Diners is staying. 🍽️

Obviously once the schools go back, most of our school-age Little Diners will be busy during our weekday opening hours, but they'll still be able to continue joining us on Saturdays, inset days and throughout the school holidays.

So for our preschool Little Diners (and anyone else who isn't at school during the day, or on Saturdays), the £1 meals will continue to be available during our normal opening hours.

We may make a few changes now and again to the menu during term time to keep it workable.

Kids can eat at Blake's for £1. No minimum spend and no adult meal required.

Believe it or not, we STILL have copious amounts of skinny sausages sat in our fridge. Despite my best efforts, only 5 made it to the griddle today. 😂

So, if you're visiting us on Monday, please feel free to request a skinny sausage swap. We'll even chuck in an extra sausage FREE of charge because, they are ridiculously tiny and I need them gone.

Have I sold you on the splendid skinny sausges yet?

Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for Jason and the human Blake, who have officially been sentenced to skinny sausages for the foreseeable future.

LITTLE DINERS

As the summer holidays start drawing to a close, next week will be the last week of our Little Diners £1 meals before everyone heads back to school. 😭 the last date for these meals will be the 2nd September

We just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to every family who has visited us and taken advantage of Little Diners this summer.

We've even had some of our older Little Diners come in without their grown-ups, order and pay for themselves, and we have to say their manners have been absolutely fantastic. They've been a complete pleasure to have in the café. 🥹❤️

So although we are approaching our last week for Little Diners this summer we will see you all again for October half term! 🍂

£1 meals continue until 2nd September — no minimum spend. 🫶

UPDATE!!! THE NEW COFFEE MACHINE ARRIVED TODAY. ALL THINGS REQUIRING FROTHY MILK IS BACK IN BUSINESS 😉

Our milk frother has officially decided it’s had enough of café life and has given up on us 😭

Unfortunately, until its replacement arrives, we’re unable to make our usual lattes, cappuccinos, flat whites or mochas.

We can still serve standard filtered coffee, with milk if you’d like it, normal caffeinated service will resume ASAP!!!

Apologies, please don’t abandon us. The staff are already emotionally fragile after the day they had 😂☕️

📅 A few dates for your diary... 📅

We just wanted to give everyone plenty of notice about a few changes over the next couple of weeks.

Saturday 25th July
We'll be serving our Breakfast Menu and £1 Kids' Menu only. Maddison, our second cook in command, is celebrating her birthday and happens to want the day off 🙄🤣🥳, so although the human Blake has kindly agreed to step in and help, his usual job involves construction sites rather than café life 😆 While he's brilliant at many things, remembering where everything is and juggling a busy Saturday breakfast rush probably isn't one of them... yet! We'd rather keep the menu a little smaller and make sure good food goes out.

Saturday 1st August & Monday 3rd August
We'll be closed for a short family weekend away camping.

👯 Saturday 8th August
Once again, we'll be serving our Breakfast Menu and £1 Kids' Menu only whilst I'm away on a girls trip. Saturdays are always our busiest day and can be hectic and chaotic so keeping the menu a little simpler means Maddison and the Saturday team can keep everything running smoothly.
