As part of an action-packed programme of events, activities and celebrations taking place in July to mark Goole's official 200th birthday weekend, Goole Civic Society is staging a Bicentenary Treasure Hunt.

They are keen to hear from Goole-based businesses who would be willing to:

🔵 Offer a prize.
🔵 Feature a random number in the window of their premises.

🎂🥳With Goole's official 200th birthday weekend now just a few weeks away, we're compiling a comprehensive guide to the many community events, activities and celebrations taking place between 17 and 20 July.

📆 📧Any community/voluntary groups and charities that would like to see their events included in the print version of the official guide and on the Goole 200 website are asked to email details to [email protected] no later than Monday 15 June.

Please remember to include the date, time and venue, as well as brief details of what your event entails and how/where people can find out more about it. A photograph, image or logo to illustrate your event listing would also be appreciated.

Goole’s brand new Creative Network officially launches this Thursday, 4 June, at Goole Market Hall.

The Creative Network will provide a space for Goole-based creatives to meet, network and support one another.

Over the coming months there will be talks and workshops led by industry experts, but this week's meeting will be an informal launch event, where local creatives can get to know one another and help to shape the network.

It will take place between 6.30pm and 7.30pm, and everyone is welcome.
