What a glorious day today has been, wall to wall blue sky, sunny and warm.
Today I catered another lovely meal fo the Fernhurst Luncheon Club which is held twice a month at the Fernhurst village hall.
On today’s menu was a delicious homemade Cottage Pie with yummy beef mince from Cowdray butchers. They had roast parsnips, carrots and broccoli to accompany the main. For the vegetarians I cooked up fresh baby spinach with ricotta, feta and nutmeg with loads of garlic and shallots which was then wrapped up in filo pastry. To accompany their main was the same veggies and some buttery and cheese mash on the side with some vegetarian gravy.
