A few snaps taken from catering for The Fernhurst Luncheon Club over the last couple of months ❤️ The last meal catered was Poached Side-of Salmon with a fresh Dill, Butter & Lemon sauce served with a roasted Beet & Cauliflower warm Salad with Peas & Green Beans. We served 40 that lunch. The time before that I made a delicious melt in the mouth Lancashire Hotpot with Lamb bought from R G Young & Son in Chiddingfold. That also went down a treat and we served 35. The last pics are of Roast Chicken with all the trimmings. That lunch we fed around 40 too.

What a glorious day today has been, wall to wall blue sky, sunny and warm.

Today I catered another lovely meal fo the Fernhurst Luncheon Club which is held twice a month at the Fernhurst village hall.
On today’s menu was a delicious homemade Cottage Pie with yummy beef mince from Cowdray butchers. They had roast parsnips, carrots and broccoli to accompany the main. For the vegetarians I cooked up fresh baby spinach with ricotta, feta and nutmeg with loads of garlic and shallots which was then wrapped up in filo pastry. To accompany their main was the same veggies and some buttery and cheese mash on the side with some vegetarian gravy.

HAPPY NEW YEAR FOLKS
Today I catered lunch for 40 at the village hall in Fernhurst for the Fernhurst Luncheon Club. On the menu today they had a Turkey Pot Pie using up the left over turkey from the Christmas Lunch that we catered in December, I also roasted up some yummy baby potatoes with garlic and fresh rosemary and goose fat with some seasonal veggies. For pudding I made some profiteroles which were filled with Chantilly cream and a delicious homemade chocolate sauce. For the ones who didn’t want such a rich dessert was fresh fruit salad. All was devoured with relish! #2026

Made for a friend to say Thank you for looking after my hound in the Summer. A Christmas Yule Tide Log. Covered with a dark chocolate ganache with a strawberry and cream filling encased in a rich chocolate sponge. The Holly and berries are edible too.
