Unfortunately, due to ongoing technical difficulties and a stubborn electrical gremlin that refuses to leave the premises, we won’t be at the CCA tomorrow evening.

We’re working hard to get the old girl back on the road and serving up your favourite gluten-free fish & chips and burgers as soon as possible.

🇦🇺🦘 AUSSIE FRYER UPDATE 🦘🇦🇺

Unfortunately, the Aussie Fryer truck is feeling a bit under the weather at the moment.

After developing a serious case of electrical gremlins, she’s currently undergoing intensive care and appears to have donated most of her dashboard to science. 🤦‍♂️⚡

We’ve spent the last couple of days chasing wires, relays, modules, fuses, and just about everything else that could stop a truck from doing truck things. Sadly, she’s not quite ready to get back on the road and serve up your fish, chips, and burgers just yet.

A massive shout-out to Elite Motorworks who answered our call for help and stayed with us until gone 10pm on a Friday evening - trying everything possible to get us back up and running. That sort of dedication is hard to find and we’re incredibly grateful. 👏🍻

The good news is we’re not giving up on her yet. The old girl is tough, stubborn, and Australian at heart. 🇦🇺💪

We’re hoping to have her back on the road soon, rescuing hungry locals one gluten-free meal at a time.

Thanks for all the messages, support and understanding while we battle the mechanical wildlife currently living in our wiring loom. 🦘⚡🐍

We’ll be back as soon as the truck stops trying to identify as a garden ornament.

‼️UPDATE‼️
Unfortunately we’ve had to make the difficult decision to cancel tonight’s service at CCA Churchdown😩

The truck has completely lost power and despite trying everything we could to get moving, it’s just not happening tonight.

We didn’t want to leave everyone hanging any longer waiting for updates, especially at dinner time, so wanted to let everyone know ASAP so you can make other plans this evening.

We’re so sorry for the inconvenience — trust old trucks to pick the hottest day of the year to throw a tantrum 😂🇦🇺

🚨 Unfortunately we’re having some unexpected issues with the truck this evening and despite trying everything to get moving, we’re currently still stuck at the unit 😩

We know lots of you were planning on joining us tonight at CCA and we’re so sorry for the last-minute disruption. We’re currently trying to work out whether we can still get there later this evening or if we’ll need to postpone tonight’s service completely.

We’ll update everyone as soon as we know more — thank you for bearing with us. One thing about running old trucks… they always pick the worst possible timing 😂🇦🇺
