The idea is simple — we reserve a table, leave a few chairs empty, and invite anyone who feels like a chat, some company, or simply being around people to come and join us.

No pressure. No awkward introductions. No expectations to stay all evening.
Just a relaxed, welcoming space where people can connect over a drink and conversation. Look for me in an Orange hoodie.

Loneliness can affect anyone, at any age, and sometimes the hardest part is simply walking through the door. Empty Chairs is about making that first step a little easier.

Introducing… Odd Socks Street Eats!

Our vision is to partner with a variety of amazing independent food traders, bringing an ever-changing selection of incredible food to Odd Socks throughout the year. From burgers, pizzas and BBQ to Greek, Mexican, Indian, desserts and everything in between – we’d love to showcase the fantastic talent we have right here in our local area.

Our aim is simple – to support fantastic local independent food businesses while giving our customers even more reasons to visit Odd Socks.

And we’re not just thinking about daytime! We’re also exploring opportunities to pair food traders with some of our evening events, creating even more reasons to come along for Board Games Night, Quiz Nights, live entertainment and other special events throughout the year.
