Celebrate with us

As a past or current member we would like to invite you to join us for a special celebration event on 4th October 2026 at Glossop Cricket Club.

Our afternoon event from 15:30 to 17:30 is a celebration for our current members and their families. There will be food and drink, games, music and of course birthday cake! Places are free but limited so please book tickets via this link to join us.

In the evening, we will be having a more 'grown up' celebration for alumni, friends and supporters of Dark Peak (but there will still be birthday cake!). Once again, places are free but limited so please book tickets via this link to join us:

We hope this celebration will be a chance to relive great experiences and reconnect with old friends, at the same time as looking forward to the next chapter for Dark Peak. Some of our recent graduates are preparing a video wall showing the story of Dark Peak in images and video. If you have any pictures of your Dark Peak experiences you would like to share, please email them to [email protected]

Following our successful Victoria Hall Piano Appeal we have now acquired a top of the range professional quality piano for the Victoria Hall.

This means our sweet little baby grand now needs to find a retirement home.

It's at concert pitch and has a good tone - not too overpowering so ideal for any living room. It's also an attractive piece of furniture.

It needs to go in the next couple of weeks and we're not asking anything for it except the cost of transportation. Although a donation to the work of Dark Peak Music would always be appreciated.

✨🎶 We work tirelessly to create brilliant musical opportunities for young people both in our local community and further afield. This recent trip to Manchester University to hear extraordinary performers up close and learn from world-leading musicians was totally inspirational! ✨🎶
