🥂 Eight years ago today, we said “I do” — and honestly, it feels like yesterday 💖

This was actually our ‘second wedding’ We’d done the legal bit at a local registry office a few days beforehand with just 2 witnesses, then flew to Italy for a family wedding.
Back then, there wasn’t the huge choice of celebrants that there is now. We wanted something personal, relaxed and completely us, but the options were pretty limited.

And, in a slightly roundabout way, that’s one of the reasons I became a celebrant. ❤️

I wanted to create the kind of ceremonies I would have loved to have had — ceremonies that feel like you, rather than something pulled from a dusty wedding script.

Fast forward eight years and I now get to stand beside couples, tell their stories, make them laugh (and occasionally cry!), and help them have a ceremony that is as wonderfully individual as they are.

So today I’m celebrating 8 years of marriage… and the rather lovely career it inspired. 🥂❤️

✨ The countdown is officially on! ✨

In just over a week’s time, I get the absolute joy of marrying Tash & Dalton at Ghillie Dhu Weddings in Edinburgh and I already know this is going to be one for the memory books. 💛

These two are bringing the love, the laughs, and plenty of personality—and I’m so here for it!

There’ll be happy tears, huge smiles, a few belly laughs and a ceremony that’s all about them.

I honestly can’t wait to stand with them on 8th August and make it official.
