In a word, Mackerel. Looks nice eh. Props to our friends Campbells Prime Meat Ltd for dropping these into our production kitchen today. All good to go for a private party BBQ in Bearsden tomorrow.

Check out that uniformity. These petro-rainbow colours are really floating our (fishing) boat today. We're having some thoughts about a Paul Smith jumper. Fancy wearing a mackerel skin jumper by MC Tailoring? If you can cope the oilyiness & slightly fishy aroma we're happy to fit you up....

FLASHBACK!!! To this day in 2024 when we were setting up in the South of France for a month long episode of crew catering for longtime client NSRS on their Soleil de Sud exercise. Three meals a day for a 100 strong workforce of British, French, Norwegian, Moroccan & Tunisian defence contractors at the military base in Toulon. Plus 14 hours a day of music in the hospitality tent curated by the irreverant Antony B Millar. We also opened The Art Department just to up the ante on the multi-tasking front.

Epic times & we are also available for crew catering for industrial projects, tv/ film shoots & music festival hospitality in the UK too....

Looking forward to the annual Spinal Injuries Scotland event at Castle Semple this June. Sponsored by Digby Brown Solicitors this is always a great day for a fantastic cause. We've been supporting the event since with a lunchtime BBQ for circa 150 guests since 2016. One of our favourite events of the summer season & we are eagerly anticipating the 2026 edition.

Looking forward to loads to Faith & Josh's wedding St Blane's House in Kilchattan Bay on the Isle of Bute this July. A new venue for us & it looks like a fantastic place for a blank canvas wedding. That's exactly what the happy couple to be have created - wedding ceremony on the beach, canapes on the lawn, BBQ meal & then we'll be firing up the pizza oven for a mouthwatering array of handmade Italian pizza in the evening. Fun times ahead for summer!

Sunshine out in Glasgow today. Puts us right in the mood for BBQ season & with our first outdoor gig of the year booked in for late April we've not got long to wait.

Here's our King Prawn & Chorizo Skewers in all their garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, parsley, chilli, black pepper, sea salt & olive oil marinated glory. Drizzled with garlic & herb oil for your sheer pleasure. Undoubtedly the oldest & most favouritest BBQ item on our menus.

Super-excited about the Commonwealth Games return to Glasgow this July. The city will undoubtedly be pure buzzin' & we'd expect there to me massed ranks of lanyard wearers populating the Merchant City again...

Back in 2014 we worked across three sites for Jack Morton Worldwide providing catering facilities for the crew involved in builds & rehearsals for the opening closing ceremonies.

Here's what Steve Coffey, Catering Manager at Jack Morton had to say....

BBQs have been massive for us over the last decade or so & 2026 is likely to be no different. For weddings the perfect option, a whole bunch of super-tasty dishes for you and your guests to enjoy rather than the slightly uninspiring choice of two on offer at most Big Day receptions. All the better you can see & smell the goodies being cooked off to whet your appetite for an exciting meal to follow....
