After a lot of thought and reflection, I’ve decided to sell the balloon side of my business on 🤍

What started 2 years ago as a creative passion has grown into something I’m incredibly proud of, & I’m so grateful for every client, celebration & memory along the way.

As my business continues to grow & evolve, I’ve realised I want to focus more on floristry & event styling which is where I really wanted to be from the start… these are areas that truly align with the direction & vision I have for the future of Events by Melissa.

This is such a bittersweet decision, but I know it’s the right next step, anyone that knows me knows I HATE saying NO especially to my clients but it has to end somewhere. I would absolutely love for the balloon side of the business to go to someone passionate & excited to continue growing it.

If you’re new to the balloon industry, I’m more than happy to offer training and support to help make the transition smooth & set you up with confidence ✨

I have an overwhelming amount of balloons & props which I will be working through this week to create an inventory.

All orders that are currently in the diary will go ahead & be completed by myself

My very first valentines as .glasgow. This was the very last of 53 orders!! ♥️

But I also want to share something real.

Leading up to Valentine’s, I had a couple of knocks

But here’s what I’ve learned:

✨ Don’t sell yourself short just to secure the work.
✨ Don’t shrink your prices to fit into someone else’s budget.
✨ The right clients will see your value.

I stood by my pricing because it reflects the quality, time, premium roses, long hours, and the incredible team behind every bouquet. And in the end? We still had a fully booked, beautifully busy Valentine’s with 53 amazing customers who trusted us.

Everything eventually works out the way it’s meant to.

To my amazing team thank you for showing up with dedication and heart. None of this would be possible without you.
To everyone who supported us, thank you for choosing quality and supporting small businesses.
