Macaroni cheese bites, hearty salads, quiche, sandwiches and cheese scones - just a few of the dishes I created for last week's wedding!

A lunchtime buffet for 60 guests, followed by an evening feast for 100... the largest amount of food I've ever served in one day!

Happy birthday to me! 🥳

Vintage style cakes are all the rage at the moment so I thought I'd make one for my birthday to practise my piping techniques! My little boy helped me measure and mix all the ingredients for this rich chocolate cake, then I decorated it all by myself (he's not quite ready for that bit yet!) 🍫

I don't think I've ever baked so much in so little time!

Apart from one tray of brownies and one of blondies, I started baking for this dessert stall at about 1pm on Tuesday - and by 6pm Wednesday I was all set up and just about ready to serve. (I even squeezed in a morning playdate too 🙈)

There was a bit of a last-minute panic: arriving to set up and then realising I'd forgotten the password for my card machine, resetting it... and then being told my new password was the same as my old one 😅 But it all turned out really well in the end!

The Kinder cookie pie was the star of the show this time - I just managed to grab myself a slice before it all went!
