Last weekend was filled with colour and joy at Hannah & Jimmys wedding on the Isle of Mull 🤍

I came across Alba Wedding Co from a post shared by abrightside photography. Abi offers on the day coordination as well as wedding & elopement planning.
Coming across Abi’s website was the missing piece to the crazy wedding puzzle.

All correspondence were quick, easy & friendly. Her on the day wedding coordination services were mapped out and explained - instantly putting my mind at ease that the wedding we had planned would run seamlessly with Abi there on the day.

Through a zoom call & face to face meeting, Abi took full interest in every detail of our plans & the vision we had for the day, right down to the small details like place settings.

Abi reached out to all our suppliers , introducing herself as a point of contact for the day & lead up to the wedding, producing a detailed timeline for everyone to make sure the day went as smoothly as possible.

Abi visited our wedding location as the marquee was getting built and went over aisle layout, power supplies, generators, parking ( the list is endless) making sure that she knew every little detail- nothing was ever a bother.

Abi provided reassurance & a sense of calm the night before the wedding having had bother with one of our suppliers. Not only did she reach out to the supplier but she provided positive solutions & a back up plan for the day, if things were to go wrong- she really does go above and beyond!

On the day, she met all our suppliers on arrival and worked closely with them, running to the timeline set out. She communicated with my maid of honour to make sure we were happy with set up & decorations, really focusing on the wee things as she knew they were important to me- this let me fully enjoy the wedding morning.

Having Abi & Carrie let us enjoy our day knowing that someone so lovely was in charge really took the pressure off and let us really relax and take in the full day.

Abi is organised, friendly, approachable and absolutely brilliant at what she does. Her coordination was invaluable to our day and I genuinely don’t know what we’d have done without her!

Hello everyone 👋

There's been a few new follows recently so I wanted to reintroduce myself again!

I'm Abi, and I'm the face behind Alba Wedding Co!
I've lived in Fort William in the middle of the Highlands for the last 9 years, and I recently married a local Highlander man ❤️

I've worked in a range of events throughout my career from Sport to Corporate but now I've turned my attention to Weddings, as what better background could you ask for then the West Coast of Scotland with its stunning mountains & white sandy beaches 😍

I've worked in Care, in the Outdoors, in Hospitality, in Operations, studied Tourism & Adventure Sports, Event Planning & Wedding Planning.

All of this experience means the services and packages I offer are based around creating the most beautiful day that is all about the couple who are getting married 🤍

In my free time, I love hanging out with my 2 year old son, going cold water swimming (more dipping than swimming I would say haha), exploring the gorgeous Highlands, and trying to figure out gardening 🥰

Last Friday was just the most beautiful day working with a lovely couple.

Alisha & Aaron hired me to be their On The Day Coordinator, and it was just a joy to be able to take their plans and make sure everything ran smoothly so that they and their families could enjoy what was a very special day 🤍

The venue and the suppliers were all just absolutely wonderful, and I loved working alongside them all.

Perfect photo location or perfect ceremony location? 🤍

- edit, we are aware Bluebells are protected and we aren't encouraging trampling on Bluebells, however we do know plenty of locations in Lochaber where you can get your photo taken with Bluebells without damaging them ☺️
