Wow it,s hot,the flowers are practically drying in the garden!I have had a good crop this year including statice,helichrysum,nigella,quaking grass,canary grass,campion and bunny tails.All ready to be used in beautiful bouquets for brides.The colours so far include yellow,apricot,white,pink, red and purple and the grasses vary from pale straw to green.
I am always happy to discuss wedding plans with no obligation and once you decide to book me I charge a £50 non refundable deposit that comes off the price of the flowers.
I create natural looking bouquets and buttonholes that can be ordered and delivered many months in advance and will keep for a long time to display in your home.
I use Heritage twine to wrap the stems of the flowers and they come in a wide range of colours as well as natural.
Photos show som elf this years flowers as well as some of the bouquets I have made.
I am now taking booking for 2024.(may be possible to book for the remainder of 2023 depending on size of wedding and date)

Where is the year going?Harvest time for lots of my flowers already and the work room is beginning to get a little crowded with bunches of flowers drying ready for wedding orders.
I am now taking enquiries for wedding in Spring and Summer 2024 and may have a few dates available in Autumn 2023 depending on the size of wedding.
Lots of lovely flowers in many different colours to choose from,Statice in white, yellow,purple and apricot, helichrysum in whites, pink,red and yellow, delphiniums in shades of pink, white and blue and numerous grasses and seed heads.
I am happy to discuss initial enquiries at no charge but once I agree to take on a wedding I ask for a non refundable deposit of £50 which comes off the cost of the finished bouquets.
Prices start at £8 for a simple buttonhole up to £80 for a large bridal hand tied bouquet.

The year is rushing by and already I am drying some of the lovely flowers and grasses I grow ready for weddings later in the year.Today is the turn of the lavender and as it is a bit chilly in the garden I am stripping stems and making up bundles ready to dry in the living room.You can imagine the lovely smell 😊The helichrysum are beginning to emerge as well as statice,bunny tails and canary grass.Lots more to come and I will be starting to advertise my services for weddings as soon as I have enough flowers.

I am now taking a short break from weddings as will be busy planting seeds ready for late Summer weddings as well as having a holiday ,attending to my new garden and plant ing a. new kitchen and bathroom for my new house so all go!!!!Happy to discuss weddings for late Summer but not taking on any new weddings before then as now have very few flowers available to use.

I am already on my 3rd wedding of the year(so much for cutting back!!!)As a result I now have limited colour choices of flowers.
I have purple/lilac statice.Limited yellow and pink statice, lots of blue delphiniums, some white delphinium and bright pink(I do order in the delphiniums so can get more unless the flower farm runs out)I have no pink helichrysum but do have quite a few yellow(these I grow myself as need wiring straight after picking so no more till late Summer)I also have some of the red dyed Bunny tails and plenty of natural bunny tails, and wheat.

Starting to get busier with weddings, despite saying I was going to cut back this year in order to get on with the garden!!!We have gardeners coming today to clear out the very overgrown beds so looking forward to replanting them.We have a lovely old stone shed near the house (see pic, tho does not show the shed much)and have already planned to plant the bed in front with a lovely pink Rosemary Harkness rose Tim and Chess bought me ,lavender and alliums, all pretty soft blues and pinks.Watch this space for new pics!!!
