Last week saw the 170th Henley Royal Regatta take place in Oxfordshire, with thousands flocking to the banks of the River Thames in the sunshine for this famous 5 day, quintessentially British, event. Attracting crews from all around the world, rowing races are head-to-head knock out competitions raced over a course of 1 mile 550 yards. Alongside the course are a variety of temporary structures put in place for the duration of the event including VIP hospitality pavilions, picnic areas, catering areas and a shopping village, providing a real celebration of the sport of rowing. Event Hire are delighted to have worked closely with the organisers to supply and set up large amounts of furniture including hardwood table and chair sets along with parasols, outdoor rattan furniture, Rio banqueting chairs, bar units, Tolix chairs and much more, creating some stunning areas around the event venue. What a great event to be involved with….and even the weather played its part!
