We wanted to say a MASSIVE Thank You to Ed Philips of By Sea By Land who has helped design & create our branding, posters, banners, and programme for Evanton’s first gala week in many years!
Ed digitalised our logo which was designed by Sam Blake of Kiltearn Primary School. We then used that to create our Gala Week Brand which hopefully will be used for many years to come!

Please take a look at Ed’s business where he designs clothing… ‘Inspired by nature, designed for adventure & made to last. By Sea By Land. Wander More Wonder Less.’

Ed and his wife Fiona are co-secretary at Kiltearn Parent Council at Kiltearn Primary School.

It’s a busy one today in Evanton with Evanton Community Wood Group, Badminton Try out at the Sports Hall and ending with a Beetle Drive at the DJ Hall! Little bit for everyone today!

What’s on?

🌳 Friday Futures group for people living with dementia open session
📍 Evanton Community Wood
⏰ 11:00am - 12:30pm

The group will show folk what they get up to. Will include a joint walk and a cuppa.

Information about joining the Black Rock Community Sports Association- Evanton’s own sports club for all activities.

Beetle Drive Family Game
📍 Jubilee Hall
⏰ 5:00pm - late

A fun game where players race against each other to draw a complete beetle using dice rolls.
Requires no artistic skill, involves no strategy, and is entirely based on rolling dice. Everyone welcome!

Kiltearn Parent Council Summer Fayre
Saturday 20th June 10am -2pm

Followed by Black Rock Rovers FC v Pentland United FC at the Black Rock football pitch.

We’ll have Spice Garden at the pitch 4-6pm serving some of their curries, pakoras, wine, beer and cider!

Bring your camp chair and listen to some tunes from Steve Eaglesham from 5pm!

⭐️The Charlotte Young Muddy Mile Mayhem⭐️

The Charlotte Young Muddy Mile Mayhem is an inclusive event, part of Evanton Gala Week.

It is a circular route of 1 Mile, with an out and back option, for buggies or wheelchair users,
avoiding the wibbly, wobbly hill.

The aim is for you, or you and a partner, to loop the Muddy Mile as many times as you can, or want to, in the one hour time limit.
You will be responsible for logging your laps, after every lap, at the cabin.

You may start off in whichever direction you choose, but after completing a lap, your next lap must be done in the opposite direction.

Pairs will run one lap each in one direction, then change direction.

Simples!

Bouncy Castles, inflatables, local businesses, BBQ, sweets, class stalls, live music, Highland dancing and an amazing raffle including 2 x Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival tickets

Come along and support our local club!

You can also grab some Indian food from our lovely local takeaway Spice Garden… they will be serving food and drinks (beer, wine, cider and soft drinks) up at the pitch from 4:00pm- 6:00pm
