Are you a record breaker?

Great coverage today in the Irishnews.

The male 10k course record is held by Stephen Duncan - 30.51mins. A record that that has stood for 11years.

The female 10k course record is held by Marie McGlynn - 35.21. A record that has stood for 10 years.

Anyone up for the challenge on Killyclogher 10k Road race PB course.

Entries Open for Belfast Half

📢 HALF MARATHON OFFICIALLY LAUNCHED!

🎉 A record number is expected in 2022 for the Largest Half Marathon in NI!

Organisers of the Mash Direct Belfast City Half Marathon are delighted to OPEN entries for their 9th event which takes place on Sunday 18th September 2022.

The event is an extension of the popular May Marathon event which moves into its 40th anniversary year on Sunday 1st May.

The Mash Direct Belfast City Half Marathon is the largest Half Marathon in Northern Ireland and has seen a massive growth in numbers, selling out for 4 years in a row. In 2022, a record number of 6,000 are expected to take part in September.

The event was launched this morning (Thursday 3rd March) by John Allen, Chairman of the Belfast City Marathon, at Mash Direct’s HQ in Comber.

*Craig Lynch for Life Challenge 5K Fun Run*

For those of you involved in the Couch to 5K program, it’s time to put your progress to the test! For those who haven’t been so diligent, you are invited to join the 5K Fun Run anyway. We look forward to seeing all our athletes and their families out on Sunday, supporting our car park development fund in the process. Everybody is welcome so bring as many family members and friends as possible. And after you have worked up an appetite out on the road, why not join us for a barbecue at the track to finish the evening off. 🏃‍♂️🍔
*Note* (Couch to 5K participants have free entry to the 5K Fun Run)
