Innes House

Innes House A historic Scottish exclusive use house, located in a 5000 acre estate setting with 20 bedrooms & private event areas.

We welcome vacations, celebrations, parties and corporate events. Innes House is the ideal setting for family holidays, private celebrations, corporate events or rural activity retreats. From the tree-lined drive to the mature parkland, surrounded by fields panning out into the distance, you’ll delight in this charmingly designed, turreted castle with its chimneys, gables and steep rooftops, as it

emerges into view. Walk through an impressive ancient courtyard and you’ll be met by an original stone arched vestibule at the main entrance to the property, before entering the atmospheric reception area.

We are absolutely thrilled to have been part of Joules’ Autumn campaign - captured at the beautiful Innes House a few months ago. We couldn’t be happier with how it all came together! 🍂

We recently celebrated a 50th birthday, an 18th birthday, and a 20-year wedding anniversary - all in one unforgettable weekend! Thanks again to Gaynor and Scott for choosing Innes House to celebrate such important occasions!

With lifelong friends, amazing food by Tim Maddams, and with the stunning Innes House setting, it was a perfect mix of love, laughter, and celebration! 🎂

After Storm Floris left trees down and debris scattered throughout the estate, our dedicated team has been working tirelessly to make the estate safe again.

Equipped with chainsaws and fuelled by determination, they have been clearing debris all across the estate over the past few days.

The videos captured since the storm show both the extent of the damage and the steady progress being made as the cleanup continues.

A big thank you to everyone involved in the clear up effort! 🌳

On this day...

23rd July 1912 - A marriage begins
23rd July 1920 - A new life is welcomed

At Innes House we love to remember those who came before us, their love, their legacies and stories.

The purple flowers you’ll see around the estate at the moment are called Phacelia - planted not just for looks, but to do a very important job.

Phacelia helps improve soil health and is brilliant for attracting bees, butterflies, and other pollinators. The increase in insect life also brings more birds, so you’ll likely hear more birdsong as you walk by these fields too!

It’s a simple way to support biodiversity and keep the estate thriving. 🌿

'It's so warm in here - it must cost a fortune!'

That's what we often hear from guests at Innes House...but the truth might surprise you!

Thanks to our biomass heating system, the entire house is kept beautifully warm using locally sourced woodchip - not expensive oil or gas. It's a renewable, cost-effective, and sustainable way to heat a historic home. 🌿🌳
