What a long hot historical weekend. The energy, effort, and passion everyone brought made Gathering of the North 2026 something truly unforgettable.

A massive thank you to the team at VisitVisit Sherwood Foresthosting us, this event would not be possible without your incredible, knowledgable and dedicated team of staff and volunteers.

Another huge thank you to our mKnights Of Nottingham Joustingng the chilled mead flowing all weekend long for our thirsty visitors, cheers to you! 🍻

As for the wider event the camp raiders, tourneys, the have a gos, pathway performances, living history camps, trader discoveries, the hooded man, the executioner and of course the incredible jousting tournament with the Knights Of Nottingham Jousting we hope our community will join us in celebrating their commitment to the incredible individual contributions from every one of this years crew.

To everyone who attended, supported, performed, reenacted, traded, volunteered thank you. You are what makes Gathering of the North what it is.
