Hello new followers!

I am so excited to have you here!

I created Vasthy and Friends because I saw a need for children programming. There are so few black women who lead children’s entertainment! I hope to do this forever. It really is my favorite thing. I hope to inspire minis and creators to spread joy in the world.

🌈 “ Vasthy, our host and hero, is an energetic New Yorker with incredible trousers, accompanied by friends who have all their own little stories to tell rather than dragging children on stage or demanding participation they ask questions and make suggestions giving everyone plenty of opportunity to join in, (even if that’s simply means waddling around aimlessly on stage as my two-year-old companion does for most of the hour)”

Thank you to The List for this amazing review and for featuring us as a top kids’ highlight in the 2026 Edinburgh Fringe!

Come sing, dance and play with us!
