I did an unofficial remix for the track 28 Eyes with .wav and I’ve popped it up on Soundcloud and Bandcamp as a free download!

It was originally for Jasper’s remix competition he set up, but sadly I missed the deadline (thought it was the Tuesday, it was Monday). But I really liked the end result, so much so that I wanted to put it up as a free download so it can be enjoyed/played by anyone.

I avoided listening to the original when working on it to keep myself from being influenced by it and chopped up and layered some of the original stems to form the basis of the track before adding some of my own synths and percussion.

It’s been a full 4 weeks since my debut EP Sunset to Sunrise came out, and the sun has been out to celebrate since!

It’s a funny thing releasing music. My perspective as someone fairly new to it is that there’s so much energy and excitement that goes into getting the release together and promoting it as much as you can so that people hear it. And then it comes out, and of course, not much actually changes.

That being said, there’s been some lovely feedback from people I know, and from some people who definitely don’t know me! The 2nd slide is a selection of feedback from some DJs and producers from around the world that have inspired me for years. It’s always nice when your friends like your music but it’s another level of validation to have people like and vibing with it.

I’ve been working on more music that I hope to get out into the world this year, including a remix I’m really proud of that I’ll be posting soon as a free download.

Sunset to Sunrise has been out for a whole week!🌅

There’s been some lovely feedback from people and I’ve even started creeping into algorithms here and there. 5pm Sunset was included in the Beatport Best New Electronica chart which was really nice to see. It’s a fairly varied EP so I wasn’t sure how it would be received/which tracks would resonate with people, but I’ve loved hearing which tracks people liked the most!

Up next for me is a super exciting warmup set for Perel alongside Mairi Buchanan for discotia at the best club in Scotland Sneaky Pete’s ♥️

Sunset to Sunrise EP 🌅 OUT NOW!

I’m over the moon to announce that my debut EP, Sunset to Sunrise, is out today wherever you get your music. It’s comprised of 6 tracks made over the space of almost 6 years, with 3 of them made in October 2020 and 2 more original tracks made over the last year or so, plus a stellar remix from 🔨

It wouldn’t have been possible without the two gents in the photo. of has been incredibly supportive and did an amazing job of guiding the artistic direction of the EP, I had an idea of what I wanted going in but Michael really helped shape it into a real narrative arc. Rory has been supportive ever since I sent him some of the tracks back in 2022. So to have him remix 5am Sunrise is a real honour, and the remix is a serious banger. Got a lot of love for both of these guys ♥️

It’s release week and I’m feeling like I look in this photo!

A huge chunk of that excitement brewing is due to the fact that my debut EP features a remix from a producer and DJ I’ve been listening to for more than a decade - the don that is . Rory’s music has soundtracked after-parties, festivals, my DJ sets and my life through that time, so to have him remix the first ever track I released and have it feature on my first EP, feels a little bit silly tbh.

We can no longer allow our live shows to lurk in the depths of Facebook to fade from memory, they deserve much more love than that. Therefore, we have decided to rejuvenate these special episodes with a move to YouTube where they can exist in happiness forever!

Without our live shows we wouldn’t be where we are today. They have played an integral part in our creation and some of our very best shows have taken place in front of the lens. As the foundations the podcast was built upon, we look to celebrate these episodes once more and release them again to our YouTube channel once per week. To start things off we already have the first five available for your viewing pleasure.
