If you’re not familiar with Cortese make sure you check them out. After stumbling across their self released music it’s been great to see them go from strength to strength with recent releases on Fort Romeau’s label Cin Cin and Eton Messy.

We can no longer allow our live shows to lurk in the depths of Facebook to fade from memory, they deserve much more love than that. Therefore, we have decided to rejuvenate these special episodes with a move to YouTube where they can exist in happiness forever!

Without our live shows we wouldn’t be where we are today. They have played an integral part in our creation and some of our very best shows have taken place in front of the lens. As the foundations the podcast was built upon, we look to celebrate these episodes once more and release them again to our YouTube channel once per week. To start things off we already have the first five available for your viewing pleasure. Spanning Archie's bedroom - the birthplace of Bside - with Lobos UK, Michael Hajiantonis, Paddy D (Ann Tweak) and Taisce, to the humble abode of all things freaky with Kevin West b2b Tom Le Freak at Le freak records in Dundee.

We can’t wait to welcome even more exceptional talent on to Bside when we (hopefully) get to return to our roots in the not so distant future. Until then enjoy the journey through nostalgia with us as we reminisce each week.

I hit 500 likes/followers last weekend, and while I try not to read into numbers on social media too much, its still quite a nice milestone to recognize🙂

Recorded a guest mix for the Cosmic Jive mix series - Broken Radio! The guys were the first to book me for a headline show in Glasgow and we had an amazing night, so I was really excited to put this together for them.

It opens with an absolute beauty from Baltra, and gradually picks up the energy with new tracks from DJ BORING, Leon Vynehall and Dj Tennis to get you dancing. I miss clubs a lot and recording this helped take me back there in my mind.

Self promotion feels a bit strange in this current climate, but music has always been a cathartic release for me, so hopefully it can have a similar effect for others❤️
