Last weekend we had the pleasure of cooking for a 60th Birthday Party.

When we say cook, we mean marathon cooking session for 43 hungry foodies!

Using the best of British with produce from the Turnip Tops Veg Patch, all tummies where filled to the max.

The question came from a guest: "Cheese before the pudding?"

"Yes! Being a part French brand we follow the logical. End on sweet not savoury!"

Of course we took the opportunity to educate and showcase as our Cheddar of choice. No slabs of soap here people!

You know we do flavour, right?!?

What could be more thrilling than seasonal mouthfuls of amped up flavours.

Well recently we did just that. We created a section of canapés for a Sunday evening drinkies party.

The Menu:

Foraged (by us) Wild Mushroom & Pancetta Tartelettes

Cold Smoked Trout & Creme Fraiche Blinis

Garden of England Blinis - a selection of pickled vegetables from our patch + edible flowers from our patch.

Venison Fillet & Labneh Cracker & Raspberry

Chicken Liver Pate & Pickled Shallot

All stimulating all the senses for a moment of culinary joy.

HELLO SUN ☀.....

It's been a while, but we are now in for some sunny spells!!

With peppers now needing heat, tomatoes needed continued encouragement to ripen & the cucumbers are also on their way!

However the trusty Courgette plants, Swiss Chard, French Beans, Turnips, Beetroots & 3 varieties of Potatoes are filling the fridges with much joy!
