A sunny Day 1 today 💛 Lovely to meet everyone who came to my floristry demo, thank you for joining me!

We discussed growing and arranging with ranunculus and the other Spring flowers with me today, went through a spiral bouquet technique, discussed the use of Hawthorn for its beautifully elegant blossom at this time of year, and marvelled at the scent of the Sir Winston Churchill narcissi in the large vase!

Tomorrow, I’ll be creating a vase arrangement, using chicken wire as the mechanics, and we’ll chat through some sustainable alternatives to floral foam.

I am in utter awe of the stunning parasol that took much of the limelight for me today, . Simply divine and a perfect partner to my Range Rover and flowers, elevating the set up just perfectly. My grateful thanks for a truly lovely collaboration.

Hello 💛 I am so delighted to be delivering Floristry demonstrations at Hever Castle & Gardens next week, as part of the Celebration of Spring event!

The demos will start at 2pm and run for approx. 30 minutes. If the weather is fine, I will be located just outside the main Hever Shop, up the top, or in the Garden Exhibition room, down the bottom by the lake, if the weather is less than lovely!

I’ll be covering different aspects of floristry throughout the week, from a spiral bouquet technique to a charming Spring vase arrangement, without floral foam, and will also chat about seed sowing and dahlia cuttings, now being the perfect time to think about these beauties for the coming seasons!

I will have gorgeous Spring flowers for use in my demos, all freshly gathered here at The Flowered Garden. Ranunculus, anemones, tulips, greenery and a little blossom.

If you get the chance to pop in to Hever next week, please do come and say hello, it would be lovely to meet you and enjoy glorious Hever together!

Monday April 20th through to Friday 24th, 2pm daily.

The event runs on into the following week, during which the demonstrations will be run by Hever’s own Emma, of !!

Capturing the sunset in all her colours and glory, for D&D on this beautiful September weekend 💛

Bridal bouquet, buttonholes and corsages, along with an abundance of stems in our Flower Arranger’s Buckets, for the bridal party to create their Reception flowers with (I was shown a sneak preview and they looked stunning!).

So delighted to have been asked to create the flowers for D&D and wish them a lifetime of love, laughter and happiness together 💛

Today marked the start of British Flowers Week, rightly celebrating British grown flowers and foliage and their incredible beauty, magnetism and benefit to the planet! Here at The Flowered Garden and we are celebrating with the start of our PYO season, opening this Friday and Saturday - we have a wonderful selection of flowers to fill one’s bucket with! Add to this a number of floral projects we’re working on and we are elbow deep in British grown glory! So, we wish you a wonderful week, filled to the brim with British grown flowers, whether from your own garden or directly from one of the thousand strong flower farmers/florists across the UK, many of whom can be found Have a glorious week! Some very joyful and somewhat glam colours coming from the beds this week, picking for various clients and their palettes and events. It’s a joy to harvest these beauties, despite the wind and rain! I’ve managed to bring some stragglers into the house, those that have fallen into my path - I do love silver linings! X
