We opened our first shop in 2016 in Union Street in Dundee. We opened with a focus on sustainable and ethical produce and then in January 2018 we turned our business vegan. We were the first fully vegan establishment in Dundee and we very quickly outgrew our premises. We had a brief pop up in bigger premises in 2019 and then just as we were looking to find a bigger permanent home, Covid came in 2020. So in 2021 we began making Vegan Food from our kitchen for home delivery and other events that we cater. World Vegan Street Food is a concept we developed through considering the way climate change and the need to travel less, may curtail our future travel plans. We want to bring you new food experiences without the need for you to leave your own home. So come on a journey with us and Travel The World Through Food as we take you to different countries weekly! We work with many local suppliers and try and use seasonal vegetables. We are constantly looking at how we can be more sustainable, We are by no means perfect in anything we do, but we are trying to lead a more simple and sustainable life. We do it for our four children at home with us in the hope of a better future.

🎨 Short film ‘Soft Skin’ reveals the making of a stop motion animation film, with children telling their everyday stories of life under Israel’s bombardment.

⭐️ MENU LAUNCH
🇬🇷 September is the month of Greece. We are stealing that last bit of sunshine, putting a seasonal twist on it and making it a Taverna style Meze

📦 Our Taste of Greece box is available as a click and collect The Yard Market 🛍️ this Saturday in Broughty Ferry from 12-4pm. Order by Friday noon.
🚚 And the whole menu is available for delivery next Friday 25th in Fife from 12-3 and Dundee 3-6. Order by Wednesday noon.

Another catering event this weekend and a 40th birthday at that…….. Did you know Mike spends as much time time thinking up the names of the dishes sometimes as the actual dish for a new menu 😉

My favourites are ‘Truffle Shuffle Burger’ (as I am a Goonies fan) and ‘Orzo you thought’ as it’s pure cheeze!

This weekend Mike had to make the Texas Lonestar and in true ND style I have been singing Norah Jones all weekend. Although next weekend when he to make Wrap of Gods I might need to limber up 🙌

Jasmine has always wanted to be one of those people who comes up with the names of paint, but I think Mike could name every hex code with a punny name!

Look at the colourful catering we just dropped off for a M/others against Genocide Scotland event at Forgan Arts Centre

Last year we did two fundraising events for Palestine and raised over £2500 for Medical Aid for Palestinians

We stock Palestine Cola UK and gave them some today to wash down the food.

I was taking photos of Mike garnishing the food and saw his Palestine bands he’s been wearing a variation from for over a year now and it made me smile. He got them from SPSC last year and then we added to all his colours from an amazing wee shop in the Barras.

But incase you haven’t seen Mike wearing it on his sleeve, or heard us say……….. 🇵🇸

We took a little trip to Balgove Larder Night Market this evening and i was really struck by how amazing what we have going on in Fife really is!

I then stumbled straight on my new favourite thing- my foraging basket! I actually said I wanted one yesterday and so think I’ve manifested this.

I’ve been pretty laid low since the end of June so I already feel in my old lady era, but I want to try and forage good foods that are all about the polyphenols , anti-oxidants & anti-inflammatory while I am waiting what feels like forever on hospital appt’s.

I bought the amazing Kylee Newton book the other day and the member of staff in Topping & Company St Andrews said I would love it- and I do!

Until I get foraging and so I can practice we stopped off in Strawberry Shed on the way home to buy jam raspberries!

All made, grown, produced and purchased in Fife.

🍂Well that’s it, August is gone. I can smell my favourite season and cosy jammies are already on!

🇬🇷 We are sneaking in one last late summer vibes delivery by heading to Greece on 26th September before it really is all about the pumpkin.
🍁However if you are a bring on Autumn kind of person then you can find us at The Yard Market 🛍️ this Saturday with Blendsmiths Pumpkin Chai Lattes and Chai Cookies made using their Chai. Oh and did I say Apple & Caramel Muffins and Cinammon Rolls.
