NOT DOVAH MATERIAL

DJ Dovah AI music video.

This track is based on one of those moments that doesn't seem like it belongs in a song.

A normal night outside The Duchess in Dover suddenly became the centre of attention when one bloke completely lost his cool and drew half the street into the situation.

Nobody got hurt.
Nobody was fighting.
Everyone seemed more interested in calming things down than making them worse.

At the time it felt like exactly the sort of thing that wasn't worth writing about.

Which of course meant it ended up becoming a DJ Dovah track.

The video was created using AI and edited in a fast-cut style to recreate the fragmented feeling of remembering a strange night out. Every scene flashes by like a memory, building the same sense of confusion and chaos that made the original incident so memorable.

From the latest album:

End of the Night, Start of Something

A collection of songs inspired by real Dover nights, strange encounters, random conversations and all the moments that somehow become stories later.

🎵 Latest music video: You Alright? 🎵

From the DJ Dovah album End of the Night, Start of Something.

Although it's not a 100% accurate AI video recreation of Art Club Dover, it's definitely the closest I've managed so far.

In fact, considering the tools and settings used, this might end up being the best music video I've ever made.

Most of the visuals were built from photos I took at Art Club last weekend.

One exception is the condensation-on-the-window scene, which comes from footage I shot long before the DJ Dovah project even existed.

Like most of DJ Dovah tracks the song itself takes influence from a real night out.

A friendly Crew from Crewe bought me a drink without making a big thing of it, alongside the familiar phrase "You alright?" .

It's a song about small acts of kindness, community spirit, and that sense of belonging you sometimes find on a good night out.

Out of all the tracks on End of the Night, Start of Something, this is definitely one of my favourites, if not my favourite.

Not affiliated with or endorsed by Art Club Dover, but hopefully they appreciate the positive vibes and community spirit behind it.

🚢🇧🇷 PORT OF CONFUSION 🇧🇷🚢

The latest music video from the album Dovah em Dois Mundos (Dovah in Two Worlds) is now here.

When a mysterious shipment arrives at Dover Harbour from Brazil, customs officers immediately suspect the worst.

Contraband?

International smuggling?

A threat to national security?

Turns out it's mostly fruit, vinyl records, cocktail ingredients and tropical confusion.

What follows is a completely serious investigation into something that probably could have been resolved much earlier.

Filmed entirely in the spirit of the song, Port of Confusion follows the increasingly suspicious customs officers as they attempt to uncover the truth behind a shipment that seems far more dangerous than it actually is.

The question remains:

How many mangoes does it take before Dover Harbour becomes a dancefloor?

🎶 Port of Confusion
📀 From the album Dovah em Dois Mundos (Dovah in Two Worlds)

Nothing illegal.
Just fruit to share.

Kissed at the Cliff Edge - Full Music video

The idea for this song wasn't based on a real life experience of kissing someone by a cliff edge, that of course would be a bit dangerous.

It was just an idea of placing your trust in someone who would help you confront your fears of not only falling but flying, something referenced in another song from the album 'Freak Out, (Don't Let Me Float)' and at a Cliffside Rave this romantic encounter fits in perfectly on the album.

The music video itself, doesn't really lean into that idea, it's more universal, where there are lot of people, well, just getting off with each other, ie kissing, which still works.

What the video does capture well though is the euphoria of the moment and is an insight into romantic encounters at an illegal rave in Dover.

The video may be a bit slow to start with but stay with it, it will be worth the ride.

What Do You Think About That?

Tried to recreate The Art Club in Dover for the “What Do You Think About That” video…

AI clearly had other ideas 😅

Still strangely captures the feeling though.

Before doing another Art Club themed one, maybe need to spend more time filming and taking reference photos first 👀

The Duchess later in the video didn’t actually turn out too bad though.

“What Do You Think About That?” is from the latest DJ Dovah album “End of the Night, Start of Something”.

So, I wasn't planning on doing another music video from the Cliffside Rave album...

But Summer is officially here, we're all feeling a bit baked in the sun, and the only real respite is taking your top off.

So what better way to celebrate Summer than Stickered Off Me T**s.

This could be the best DJ Dovah music video so far.

In fact... it could be one of the best music videos ever made.

Keep watching. Things start getting a bit strange after the first 30 seconds.

'Press Generate' was a track which was initially intended for the latest DJ Dovah album 'End of the Night, Start of Something' and like all the other songs, was made with the new DJ Dovah Generator, which this song refers to..

Although it carried the same sound as the other tracks, it didn't quite make it on the album.

The idea behind it, was that it was going to be a bit of mix up of different songs in one.

This was actually my favourite bit of audio from the song, so made sense to use this to turn it into a mini clip to promote the album.

Have you heard the new album yet?

'Lights are out, it's a different kinda love' or is that 'light?

Either way, love this mini clip so much that I played it about 50 times before posting (or maybe 100 or more).

Lights may be dimmer and we haven't really got a DJ Dovah sign (yet) illuminating the darkness 🌟 if you know the alleyway in Dover where this clip is based on.

Have recently turned two of the previous mini posts into full songs that might be shared so they can be downloaded, would love to do the same for this but sometimes you just can't beat the original.

This alleyway has become iconic in DJ Dovah folklore and this, along with the DJ Dovah sign was used for the cover of latest album, 'End of the Night, Start of Something'

If you are familiar with DJ Dovah songs and like them, pretty sure you would love the album, especially as the album was built with a new DJ Dovah generator, which contained well over 90% of DJ Dovah's catalogue.

The latest DJ Dovah album, has that edge for what DJ Dovah was known for but it's a next level consistent sound.

All the songs are based on real life experiences, maybe that might sound too personal but this is how DJ Dovah's flagship album 'Dover Nights' always was.

But back to the video, where did she get that cool speaker backpack? Never seen them in real life, are they a thing?

This bank holiday Monday....

If you live local to Dover UK, burn off the bank holiday damage and attend an exercise class, which should include a small dose of 2 minutes DJ Dovah, providing the instructor decides not to drop it by then, a bit like the lyrics in the song 'DJ on the Floor' from the latest album about another DJ 😅

DJ Dovah may be a bedroom artist but it's been known on a few occasions for DJ Dovah songs to end up on the local Clubbercise playlist.

Not sure where they got that t shirt from, it's not an official DJ Dovah t shirt, either they turned up for the wrong DJ (haven't heard of DJ Dover yet) or they have a knock off shirt 😎

But as you can see, first time there and they were really in the swing of it.

OK, not a real video but the venue and event will be and the video captures the vibe perfectly, just expect a few more people in the hall.

Bank holidays seem to becoming a bit of an occasion for DJ Dovah. 🎧
