๐ŸŽฌ 'You're Auditioning' from the latest album, 'End of the Night, Start of Something'

We had already depleted the DJ Dovah music video budget and this one ended up going well over budget before it was finally finished.

It didn't really turn out how we hoped. It's meant to be outside the Elephant and Hind, but AI had other ideas and decided to move it somewhere else. ๐Ÿ˜„

Despite that, the choreography synced to the beat really well and the different people appearing throughout actually ended up fitting the theme of 'You're Auditioning'.

It's far from perfect, but it still complements the music and, for better or worse, this is now the official music video for 'You're Auditioning'.

Hope you enjoy it. ๐ŸŽถ

๐ŸŽฌ๐Ÿ† Duchess Disgrace (Sticky Floors / Sticky Fingers) ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿป
The Song That Started DJ Dovah

๐ŸŽฌ The first ever DJ Dovah song now has a music video.

Released as a single before Dover Nights last year, this song was never really meant to be released.

๐Ÿ’ƒ But the sound felt like it belonged on the dancefloor at The Duchess on a packed Saturday night so much that I thought other people had to hear it, despite the lyrics, and it became the starting point of DJ Dovah.

๐Ÿšซ A friend at the time said, "Don't release it, you'll get barred." That comment ended up giving me the idea for Banned from The Duchess, and somehow being barred became a recurring theme throughout DJ Dovah.

๐Ÿค– I also have a theory about why the music came out the way it did.

Most AI has guardrails, but when you push it towards an idea it's trying to avoid, it doesn't simply refuse.

Instead, it often finds strange and unexpected ways of expressing that idea.

I think that's where a lot of this track's energy came from.

๐ŸŽฅ The music video isn't perfect, but I'm really pleased I finally got to make this one.

๐Ÿบ One thing you won't see in the video is a barmaid. If you've always thought you could hear a barmaid saying "Duchess", I've always thought this too. AI seems to think they also say "backdrop" after listening to it, but I've always been convinced they sound more like "bad block".

๐ŸŽง You might like a DJ Dovah track and not even like this one.

But without this song, there would be no DJ Dovah.

โญ This is where it all began.

๐ŸŽฌ And even after everything that's come since, this track still feels like an important part of the project.

๐Ÿ’ธ Enjoy this one as much as you can, because DJ Dovah's music video budget has just about been depleted.

'Out on the Town in Dover' from 'Dover Nights'

It's not perfect.
It's not Dover. (Until briefly at the end)
But it's Friday.
And it's a music video.

This song is now over 1 year old.

There hasn't really been any drum and bass punk tracks like this since Dover nights.

Maybe the video would be better if in Dover but enjoy this Dover style one.

And if you wonder why Bob Odenkirk makes an appearance, I think Seedance paid him royalties for that.

๐ŸŽˆ๐ŸŽต Hard On On The Dance Floor ๐ŸŽต๐ŸŽˆ

Another music video from the latest DJ Dovah album, End of the Night, Start of Something.

If you've ever had a night out in Dover, you'll know that absolutely anything can become part of the story.

This one heads to the Bluebirds Function Rooms in Dover, where the dancefloor fills with inflatables, flashing lights and enough chaos to distract almost anyone... almost.

It takes a little while to get going, but stick with it. Once it finds its rhythm, it fully embraces the ridiculousness and doesn't let go.

See if you can spot anyone you recognise along the way... and tag your mates if they make an appearance. ๐Ÿ˜„

๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท ๐Ÿšข RETOUR IMPOSSIBLE ๐Ÿšข ๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท

The latest music video from DJ Fantรดme has arrived.

After a mysterious appearance across the Channel, DJ Fantรดme attempts the impossible return between England and France. No passport. No explanation. Just the sea, the sunrise, and a journey that somehow feels bigger than the crossing itself.

Set aboard a speeding vessel crossing the English Channel, *Retour Impossible* blends French-language electronic music, mythology and movement into a surreal voyage between two worlds.

From the French-language album DJ Fantรดme by DJ Dovah.

Bon voyage... ๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ทโœจ

๐ŸŽต Same Move All Night

Another music video from the latest DJ Dovah album, End of the Night, Start of Something.

Somewhere between the first song and the last, something strange happens on a dancefloor.

People come and go.

The music changes.

The night moves on.

Yet certain rhythms seem to stay exactly where they are.

The video became a colourful mix of nightlife scenes, dancers, lights and movement, all connected by the idea that sometimes the simplest moves are the ones that last the longest.

You don't always need a new move.

Sometimes the old one works just fine.

From the album:

End of the Night, Start of Something.
