🚑🏃‍♂️ It’s been another busy few days for our teams, with crews out across Scotland supporting a whole range of events.

From the South West Scotland Horse Driving Club and ISDS World Sheepdog Trial, to The Beltie Triathlon, Hardrock Duathlon, Kilmacolm Running Festival and Dumfries Running Club Half Marathon, our teams have been spread across a pretty varied mix of events.

And since our accidental photography training seems to be going so well, we thought we’d better show off some of teams amazing shots. Apologies for the slight photo dump, but they were too good not to share! 📸

🤩 From the forests of Galloway to the big stage in the Scottish Borders, it’s been another varied few days for our teams.

Our crews were out supporting The Se7en @ Kirroughtree, a seven-hour mountain bike endurance event taking competitors through the trails of Galloway Forest Park, while others were providing medical cover at the ET-Gullane Beach Triathlon.

Further afield, we were once again supporting our friends at Phoenix Medical & Safety Solutions at Edge Fest, with our team providing ambulance provision, paramedic level support and medical management across the three-day festival.

There was plenty happening on the stages too, with Callum Beattie, Emeli Sandé, Tinie Tempah, The Hoosiers, Sigala and Ronan Keating among the artists performing across the weekend!

What a way to round off the summer!

Last weekend, our teams were out providing medical cover at the Kirkcudbright Tattoo, the grand finale of Kirkcudbright Summer Festivities programme.

Meanwhile, some of our team were further afield in Edinburgh over the past couple of weeks, assisting our friends at Phoenix Medical & Safety Solutions throughout the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, supporting medical cover across a city filled with thousands of performers and visitors.

Back across the region, our crews were also at the Forest Experience Rally School, the Kirkcudbright Classic Car Rally, and the Dumfries Harriers 10K.

🎉 Kirkcudbright was the place to be this weekend!

Our teams were out providing medical cover for the Kirkcudbright Summer Festivities Parade and After Party, supporting the celebrations as the town came together for another brilliant community event.

Alongside our event work, our Patient Transport Team continued supporting our social work partners, providing transport across the region.

🎸🚑 A weekend of music and motorsport for our teams.

Our crews were out supporting the Ultimate Tributes Festival in Dumfries, providing medical cover as the festival brought a weekend of live music and tribute acts to the region.

Meanwhile, our motorsport team was back at East Ayrshire Car Club Kames Motorsport Complex for the April Blair Motorsport Kames Summer Rally.

It’s been a pretty full few days for our teams.

From Wigtown Show, Dalbeattie Civic Daze and the Dalbeattie Running Club 10K, to Ochiltree Gala Celebration and Dalbeattie Riding Of The Marches, our crews have been out supporting community events across the region.

Earlier in the week, our motorsport teams headed north to Aberdeenshire for the Grampian Forest Rally, spending the week supporting both the VIP and Test Day before covering the rally itself. With a rare bit of downtime in between, the team even managed to get out and enjoy some of the rally from the other side of the barriers! 🏁

Away from our event work, our Patient Transport Team continued supporting our social work partners, providing transport across the region.

Community events, gala celebrations, running, riding traditions and rallying, a pretty good few days for the team. 💚

Gatehouse Gala and Christmas Lights came to a fantastic close over the past few days.

Our teams were proud to provide medical cover for both the Torchlit Procession and Gala Day & Parade. Elsewhere, our teams were also providing medical cover at the Stranraer Show, one of the region’s biggest agricultural shows.

Alongside our event operations, our Patient Transport Team continued supporting our social work partners, providing transport across the region.

Better late than never! Here’s a look back at another busy weekend… and the start of another busy week for us.

Across the weekend and into the week, our crews have provided medical cover at Creetown Gala 2026, the ongoing Gatehouse Gala and Christmas Lights celebrations, Stewartry Agricultural Show and the East Ayrshire Car Club Kames Summer Sprint.

We were also pleased to support the One Big Thank You Summer Festival, a fantastic community event raising funds for NHS D&G Charity, with proceeds supporting Staff Services and the Alexandra Unit at Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary.

Another busy few days complete… now it’s on to the next one!

Since the start of the week, our Motorsport Rescue Team has been supporting the Racing Women Summer Boot Camp.

The three-day programme brings together aspiring female drivers for intensive coaching, on-track training and professional development, helping them build the skills, confidence and experience needed to progress within motorsport.

Racing Women is dedicated to inspiring, supporting and empowering the next generation of female talent in motorsport, creating opportunities for drivers at every stage of their journey.

As the boot camp comes to a close today, we’d like to wish everyone taking part every success for the future. We hope it’s been a fantastic few days, and we look forward to seeing many of you back at events. 🏁

Some moments are about far more than the event itself.

A touching tribute to Robin McCrae, and a very special moment for our team member, Derek, who had the honour of carrying his father’s sash. Thank you to the Kirkcudbright Riding Of The Marches for sharing Robin’s story. 💙💜

Fifty years ago our Cornet was the late Robin McCrae. The following year he acted as Pursuivant, the only person to fulfill both roles.

Many years later, when he became our President, he was presented with this unique Sash, half blue, half purple to represent this unusual situation and he was thrilled to bits.

Robin sadly passed away in January 2022 and on Friday at our Riding Of The Marches, Robin's son Derek, carried this special Sash in the First Aid vehicle following the Ride, a wonderful tribute to a great servant of Kirkcudbright Cornets Club.
