Things may be quiet on the floristry side just now… but not so behind the scenes. Family matters are taking priority at the moment, and while we care for my dear dad, we have also adopted another dog ! Meet Mara the Dane Doodle who joins Hero he greyhound who we’ve had since 2018. Our wee family is back up to 4 after losing our original hound girl Jenna in March. Coorie in!

Planning for next year planting bulbs and sowing seeds , harvesting rose petals and preparing the ground at the two sites I’m fortunate enough to have been invited to make use of. In between I’m continuing to learn Kirklands House and Gardener 👨‍🌾 at the fantastic Kirklands House and Garden🪏
I’ve even managed to squeeze in my first entry at Dollar Horticultural Society show , winning 2nd prize in a floral art category.. just for fun !

Another first today! Began my gardening 🧑‍🌾 volunteer work at the stunning Kirklands Garden. Day 1 - job 1: cutting, tying, fertilising and mulching the raspberries. Thoroughly enjoyable and such a treat to be welcomed and taught by Peter and Gill.
