With over 15 years of experience on this rare and powerful Japanese instrument, HIBIKI has been captivating audiences since arriving in the UK in 2011. Officially recognised as a world-leading talent, he’s performed across the UK and Europe, sharing the magic of the Tsugaru Shamisen wherever he goes. 🌏🎵

🎓 Teacher & Collaborator – HIBIKI teaches 20+ students and works with musicians & artists on incredible cross-cultural projects.

🎬 On the Big Screen – In 2016, he helped record the soundtrack for the BAFTA-winning film Kubo and the Two Strings by Laika Studios.
