Sometimes I forget how much I actually do. 🤍
I’m a one-woman band when it comes to my business.
There’s no team behind me, no extra pair of hands, no one to pick up the pieces when life gets busy.
It’s me.
My ideas.
My time.
My energy.
My late nights and early mornings.
Every little step forward is because I found a way to make it happen.
Sometimes I look at people who have a whole team around them and, if I’m honest, I envy it. I wonder how much further I could go if I had the same help, the same time, the same support.
But then I remind myself…
I’m building my dreams around my life, not instead of it.
I’m a business owner, but I’m also a mum.
I have a home to run, children to love, and a million little things that need me too.
So maybe my journey looks slower.
Maybe my path looks different.
But every little bit of progress means something, because I’m doing it in the spaces between everything else.
And perhaps I don’t need to compare my chapter to someone else’s.
Perhaps I just need to stop for a moment, put my hand on my own shoulder and say:
“You’re doing alright, you know.”
Because with no army behind me, I’m still showing up.
With limited time, I’m still creating.
With a full life around me, I’m still chasing my dreams.
And that deserves a little bit of credit too. 🤍
