Fancy playing alongside London Philharmonic Orchestra players and members of their Junior Artists and Foyle Future Firsts schemes? If you’re a young orchestral player, this is your chance to join the London Philharmonic Orchestra family for a day. You’ll meet some of our musicians, play as an ensemble and find out just what it takes to be part of one of the greatest orchestras in the world – for free!

The day is for young musicians aged 11 – 14 and Grade 4+ standard on their orchestral instrument. Applications are open to all but priority will be given to young musicians from backgrounds and communities that are under-represented in professional UK orchestras, who may be eligible for LPO Junior Artists in the future.

LYC Experience Day - 1:30pm-5:30pm, Friday 29 May
Westminster City School, 55 Palace Street, Victoria, London SW1E 5HJ

A free half term event with London Youth Choirs (LYC) open to children aged 6-11 from all over London who have never been in LYC before or sung in a choir. As well as lots of singing, fun warm ups and energetic games led by our expert team, the afternoon session will include tips on preparing for an audition and how to build confidence in your singing.
