Croydon Music and Arts We hope to keep you informed of the most up to date CMA information through this page! Learning to play an instrument is just the beginning.

As a music service for children and young people we provide instrumental and vocal tuition in Croydon schools from the beginner SoundStart programme to university and music college entrance. Instrumental teaching is available for all orchestral and band instruments, keyboard, piano, guitar, drum kit and voice. We provide music centres with a range of bands, orchestras, choirs and other music grou

ps to join. Performances take place at Fairfield Halls, throughout Croydon and further afield, including regular tours abroad by the senior groups. Croydon Music and Arts is also an arts service supporting schools and teachers to develop the arts curriculum, to access arts projects delivered by artists and arts organisations and to expand out of school arts activities for children and young people.

The Multi-Story Orchestra invites 16-18 year olds to join their Young Creatives!

Young Creatives are a group of paid artists who:

· Create and perform music with creative leads and orchestra

· Work with professional musicians

· Gain behind-the-scenes experience (e.g. marketing & communications)

They are looking for a few new Young Creatives this year. No prior musical/performance experience is necessary—just a passion for being creative (singers, rappers, songwriters and more are all welcome).

Come along with your child to meet our endangered instruments - Bassoon, Double Bass, French Horn, and Oboe. Hear them played and find out what happens in lessons!
