Why do I stack my cakes like this 👀

1) LOOK HOW PRETTY IT LOOKS…you don’t know it’s there, but I do 😂

2) FLAVOUR - even distribution of flavours, fillings and textures…everyone deserves a gooey bit in their slice

3) STRUCTURE - some fillings are softer than others, so a stable ring around the edge gives me confidence the cake won’t slip ‘n’ slideeee.

4) I find it theraputic

Same, same…but different : Hello AI 👋🏼

So what do I use AI for…using my designs and tweaking the colours, the backdrops so you can see what’s possible. They’re my original designs that can be adapted to suit your day.

I’ve made it, I know how it behaves…we’re just tweaking colours 🤷🏻‍♀️

I won’t lie, it can be frustrating when an AI image comes through in an email. It’s easy to put a description into a bot and that’s the image you have in your mind for the cake you’re hoping for. What it doesn’t take into account is the capability of the mediums we use, the texture, stability...AND COST!! It puts your thoughts directly into an image and your mind clings to that idea…i hate to say it, but not everything from AI is actually viable to make 🤷🏻‍♀️

I love a stacked cake for sure, but there’s something whimsical and bloody beautiful about a trio or dessert tables! They just fit the vibe 🤌🏻

Yesterday we got to celebrate the life of our wonderful Nanny Sandra. The person who could put talk anyone, loved to moan and had an unhealthy collection of bells 😅

Clearing out her house, I found so many pictures of cakes I’d made them over the years and even toppers that had been kept as keepsakes.

So it seemed fitting to make her a cake to celebrate things she loved with flowers that remind us all of her 🌸💗

You’ll definitely never be forgotten 💗

Mini things are my favourite things…and is there anything better than a little fairy house hiding in a tree, I think not! 🧚🏼‍♂️

Layers of the fudgiest chocolate cake, filled with a whipped milk chocolate & Hazelnut ganache, rings of silky ganache and of course crunchy nougatine pieces 🤤…she was decadent !

A gorgeous day for the new Mr & Mrs Annington 😍

Despite the rain, the sun made an appearance for the most beautiful couple.

Some cakes take a piece of your heart before you’ve even made them…this was one of those! A design inspired by the venue. She was contemporary, elegant and in my opinion…a real show stopper 😍 sugar blooms to match the beauties from Colonnade Florist (breathtaking as always)

I love her…
