Happy 2nd Birthday, Eve 🍓

And apparently I’ve got a new obsession with making strawberries 😂 If you saw my stories, you would have seen my excitement making these little gems!

The sponges were doused in a strawberry syrup made from the strawberry tops (no waste here my friends)

This cake got filled with that beautiful, glossy buttercream that you saw…it tastes like ice cream 👀 and of course got some delightful rings of tangy strawberry jam 🤤

🪵 Made the wood…now we shape the wood 🪓

And as we’re going rustic style wood, I let the icing sit for a while just to firm up on the top, so when I’m adding all the texture it’ll make slightly jagged cuts rather than smooth ( which goes against everything I usually stand for ) 📐

A little wash of colour to highlight…et voila 😘🤌🏻
