International woman’s day is celebrated as a national holiday by countries across the globe 🌎

On the 8th of March,1914, there was a woman’s suffrage March in London, calling women’s rights to vote. 🗳️

In 2001, the international women’s day.com platform was launched to reignite attention for the day, celebrate woman’s achievements and continue to call for gender parity. 🙌

In 2011 US president Barack Obama called for March to be known as women’s history month! ❣️
