What a week, what a couple of years. We want to thank everyone for all the support over the last two years, it’s so overwhelming. The little community we’ve built from making cakes and coffee is mad.

The two hour chats, the one time visits, the laughs and cries. We’ve seen it all. And the love for absolutely every single one of you, even after being exposed for saying ‘c-oooo-kies’ and not ‘c-u-kies’ We wouldn’t have been able to have this dream without you all.
Probably about two years to the day, we sat thinking of a name for our catering company that we wanted to open, Kayleigh’s still probably got the scrap of paper somewhere still of all the possible names we were coming up with.

Fun fact, once we had picked No.62 it was always going to be called that but when we saw the bakery and realised that the address was actually 62 too it was a mad coincidence and meant to be. Comeon, we’re cooler than just naming somewhere after its address! Smh.

Anyway, we picked up the keys on Monday and said that we would be open on the Saturday and we did. ‘a bakery in Buglawton?’ ‘That’s not going to do anything’ ‘Are you sure you want to do this?’ If anyone knows Ethan, saying things like this will make him want to do it more so we did and proved to everyone that with banter and good food then it was always going to succeed.

We couldn’t have done it without the daily support and love from everyone around us. So thank you, we really mean it. And for the few who have been daily visitors from day one, major shoutout for your devotion.

As I’ve said before, I would always put 110% into the bakery until I couldn’t and the time had come. I’ve had a lot of time to reflect and make sure this is the right decision, for now it is.

Running a business isn’t easy or everyone would do it and the narrative that ‘you’re loaded, you own your own business’. I wish I could blame it on the rising costs and things like that but it’s not. I need to look after myself most importantly.

The bakery man, what a mental fu***ng place, it’s been such a sick ride & I’ve met so many great people and if I could thank you all one by one, I’d have one full heart by the end of it, but genuinely met some fu***ng amazing folk that have really helped me grow, stay open and succeed.

I will preach forever and a day about for the rest of my life, I genuinely can wholeheartedly say that the bakery wouldn’t have lasted until today was it not for the support of these guys.

Tom & Kaz from , I genuinely might be the worst fu**er ever for not picking my milk up, but they’re always a happy face & will perk me up when even they didn’t know I needed it. Plus the milk is fu***ng great too.

thanks for always selling out of everything I’ve ever needed, especially thanks for selling my sausage meat at Christmas, loved that.

just this guy, in our toughest times has helped pull us through, I’m lost for words to say about Adam! Just he’s the man, that’s it.

d1993 - I have to add Adam to this list, Adam has been probably our most consistent regular since the week we opened, I could genuinely say that I’ve seen Adam more times than I’ve seen myself.

Going to for brunch on a Monday, or nipping for a coffee on the way home has genuinely kept me going & is and will be my go to spot.

other than being a personal doctor, agony aunt and everything in between, Thankyou for being a friend too.

I didn’t even know what a fkin bookstagram was, now I’ve got two of the sickest customers with one.

Other honourable mentions go out to all the MILFs that have ever visited

Slightly condensed the week to accommodate making it the best week possible. But on Saturday I’m gonna try and kick around for as much as possible, make loads and have a laugh! ❤️
