On the Pull for Marie Curie 2024 are proud to announce that from everyone's generosity we were able to hand over

£25,000.

Thank you to everyone who made it possible and for those last minute donations on the evening to round the figure up.

It was great to hear from Robin on behalf of Marie Curie - Northern Ireland about how these funds will help a vital service and will be remaining in Northern Ireland.

Again thank you to all who made it possible.

Tomorrow night (Saturday 11th January) is our awards nights in McBrides on the square (Comber).

We will be announcing our total collected for Marie Curie and handing over the money where there will be a representative to tell us how this will greatly benefit the charity. Afterwards awards will be presented for the tractor pullers.

For anyone who cannot attend we will update everyone on this page on the total amount raised.

For any prize winners or those attending it starts at 7.30pm upstairs.

THE RESULTS ARE IN...

First a massive thank you to all that attended today. With over 1300 through the gates it was a great success and a fantastic spectacle to see.

Those companies that wished to sponsor a class have been drawn from a hat to see which class they will sponsor with the results.

Here's a sneak peak of how the manufacturers did on the day. Wonder how that will translate down through the classes.

We look forward to seeing you all tomorrow.

All the tractors will be weighed in and ready to pull at 9AM.

We will be starting with the smallest tractors and working our way up to the biggest tractors.

Once every competitor has done their first pull we will go back to the start and everyone will do their second pull. The furthest distance of the combined two pulls will win that class.

We will keep you up to date with what's happening on the sound system.

It will be signposted from each end of the Comber-Ards carriageway. Entry will only be allowed via the Longlands road

We have a suggested charity donation of £5/person. If you want to give more you can give more or give what you can. It's all going to MARIE CURIE

CASH or CHEQUE (payable to Marie Curie) only as there are no card facilities at the main gate.

The event will start at 9am but you can arrive anytime throughout the day. For best viewing come in the morning to see all the classes go.

There'll be the opportunity throughout the day to purchase hot food & beverages.

We hope to finish up before dark.
