We’ve got another busy week of activities, fitness, games, quizzes and plenty of time to enjoy a drink at the bar! 🍻🎶

Here’s what’s coming up from Wednesday 2nd – Tuesday 8th September 👇

🎯 Wednesday: Men’s Skittles Tournament + Community Café

🍻 Friday: Bar open from 6pm
🎲 Saturday: Bar open from 4pm
Please note: there will be NO Board Game Afternoon this Saturday as lots of our regulars are away on holiday. ☀️✈️

📢 Annual General Meeting – Sling Community Hub

Members are reminded that the Sling Community Hub Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place on Tuesday 1st September 2026 at 7:00pm at Sling Community Hub.

Please note that only members are permitted to attend the AGM, although the bar will be open to everyone before and after the meeting.

📄 AGM papers are available at the Hub for inspection. Committee nomination and proxy forms are available behind the bar, with all documents also available upon request via [email protected].

🕕 The bar will be open from 6:00pm–7:00pm, closed during the meeting, and will reopen once the meeting has concluded.

Important deadlines:
• Committee nominations: 8:00pm Friday 28th August
• Proxy forms: 5:00pm Monday 31st August

Completed forms should be returned via the bar or Hub post box.

We encourage all members to attend and take part in the AGM.

Note- You do not have to be a member to access the hub at normal opening times. The bar is open to everyone. Becoming a member is only to do with voting and attending the AGM.

There’s plenty going on over the next few days! From chair yoga and free pool to bingo, Macy’s Music Quiz, line dancing, fitness and Procraftingators — there’s something for everyone! 🎉

🍹 Thursday: Chair Yoga, bar open & free pool
🍻 Friday: Bar open from 6pm
🎶 Saturday: Bar open from 4pm

Sling Community Hub 2025- 26 AGM at the Hub 1st September 2026 at 7pm. Papers available in the Hub for inspection and Committee nomination and Proxy forms available behind bar. All documents available on request at [email protected]. Nomination deadline 8pm Friday 28 Aug and Proxy forms 5pm Monday 31 Aug. Original fully completed forms to be returned via Bar or Hub post box.

Bar will be open before and after agm and all welcome.
Only members or their Proxy will be eligible to attend agm

We’re sorry for any inconvenience and thank you for understanding! 🥵☀️
