Back in May we wandered up the road from our house to Rose and Chris Mills’ farm in Stratton and (with the help of Poppy’s dad) picked out 2 of their pedigree Dexters to end up in our beef aging fridge at the butchery unit (Oink Butchery).

It’s now just over 4 weeks from the beef arriving back to us and I think we can all agree that it looks great. That lovely yellow colour to the fat shows that this has been grass fed for its whole life. The beef cuts are now sold out, but we’re planning to get some more next month!

Anyway, all this to say we will have some delicious, hyper-local beef burgers on offer at our monthly pop-up at The Drillman’s this Friday! Certainly one not to miss!!

Reservations not necessary, but very welcome to give us a rough idea of how many burgers to make. The burgers are allergen free including no gluten, but we would appreciate it if you let us know if you have any dietary requirements so we can make sure to adapt and make sure you’ve got a tasty meal to enjoy.

Find us tomorrow lunchtime at serving a snippet of summer with a delicious, fire-cooked, flatbread feast - the perfect way to end Easter in the Cotswolds. We’ll be cooking asado whole lamb on the fire pit, so just follow your nose! 🐽
