An Evening with Tabitha Webb & Helen McGinn 🍷

Wednesday 25th November | 7.30pm – 9pm

We are delighted to be welcoming two wonderfully entertaining women to The Yard for an evening of lively conversation, laughter and plenty of stories!

Fashion designer, entrepreneur and author Tabitha Webb has dressed everyone from the Princess of Wales to Claudia Winkleman and Amanda Holden. She’s also recently released her second novel, Playing the Field, a fabulously funny and rather naughty countryside romcom, perfect for fans of Jilly Cooper’s Rivals.

Joining her is the brilliant Helen McGinn, w**e expert on BBC’s Saturday Kitchen, award-winning writer and author of The Knackered Mother’s W**e Club. Helen has also recently published The Supermarket W**e Guide.

Together, they will be sharing stories, opinions and experiences from their colourful careers and lives. Expect plenty of laughter, honest conversation and perhaps a few stories you wouldn’t hear anywhere else!

🕺🍹 LFOTM COCKTAIL NIGHT + THE FORCEFIELDS GIG 🪩🍸

Friday 30th October, 6–10pm - cocktails, pizza, gelato + live music in The Barn.

We’ll have Yard cocktails flowing, Bucci Pizza serving up the slices + BON & ROSE bringing something sweet 🍧

Then from 7pm, The Forcefields take over The Barn for an immersive live performance combining powerful vocals, bass, movement and projected film + animation. It’s part gig, part visual experience + definitely one not to miss.

Grab a pizza, find yourself a cocktail, then head into The Barn for the music. Or just come along for the drinks + evening atmosphere.

Set on Chilton Manor Farm in the heart of the beautiful Hampshire countryside, The Yard is surrounded by stunning views and open skies.

Our pared-back aesthetic offers a relaxed and characterful setting, with the freedom to create a wedding that feels entirely your own. From long-table feasts to evenings filled with music and dancing in our barn, we love seeing our spaces come to life.

We are a small, supportive team who take pride in making the handful of weddings we host a year, truly special.

An Evening with Alexandra Tolstoy
Wednesday 4th November | 7.30–9pm

We are delighted to welcome explorer, author, entrepreneur and broadcaster Alexandra Tolstoy to The Yard this November for an evening of extraordinary stories from a life spent travelling through some of the world’s most remote landscapes on horseback.

At 25, Alexandra set off on a nine-month expedition along the ancient Silk Road, travelling 5,000 miles by horse and camel from Turkmenistan to China. Since then, her journeys have taken her through Mongolia, Siberia and Central Asia, and onto our screens with the BBC series Horse People with Alexandra Tolstoy.

For more than 25 years, Alexandra has also travelled extensively through Kyrgyzstan, where she is now an official Ambassador. Her latest documentary, Beyond the Silk Road, was filmed there alongside actors Dominic West and Clarke Peters.

OUR NEW AUTUMN MENU 🍳🍂 🧇

Serving new dishes suited to the season, come try these + more …

… for those who fancy a sweet treat for brekkie - autumn waffles with vanilla + orange whipped mascarpone, spiced roasted plum compote, maple syrup + buttery cinnamon crumb 🧇

Garlicky wild shrooms whipped ricotta, pickled shallots, grated old Wi******er, thyme oil, chervil + a fried duck egg - a new staff favourite 🍄‍🟫

Our autumn salad for those light lunch days - roasted maple squash with whipped lemon goat’s curd, pomegranate seeds, crispy sage + kale, along with a autumn leaf dressing + cumin-toasted pine nuts 🌱

Our in-house granola is still being served, now with greek yoghurt, chia seeds, fresh blueberries, blueberry + lime compote, banana + a spoonful of peanut butter 🥣

We can’t wait to see you - open 9am - 4pm, our kitchen closes at 3pm 🤎
