I’m not just a celebrant, I do some acting work as well.

I’m so lucky to be part of the Doncaster Fear Factory family. Those that know me, know I love acting and while I generally love comedy, this is just such a brilliant event you feel such a part of it. I’m even on the Friargate pic as the demented priestess.
This year I’m in the new zone. ‘The Mortician’
Please can I ask my lovely friends to follow the Doncaster Fear Factory page. The work the team have put into making this one of the best in the country, is just amazing. The detail, the gore, the terror.
Can’t wait to see what I’m going to look like this year.

Grief doesn’t come at the time of bereavement and then leave. It stays. For those that have lost a baby or child it is with you everyday, everywhere.
If you know someone who has lost a baby or child the best thing you can do is be there. There is no right or wrong thing to say, but just to show support.
Don’t forget the birthdays or what would have been the milestones. The family won’t.They will remember and reflect on each and every moment that would have been and the pain that it’s not.
Just acknowledging is worth gold.

It’s never too late to understand yourself

A diagnosis isn’t the end of the story, sometimes it’s the beginning of understanding it.
Libby was diagnosed with Autism and ADHD as an adult, and her outlook is genuinely inspiring.
In this episode we talk about self-acceptance, finding your own path and acceptance, and discovering that success doesn’t have to look like everyone else’s. Thanks it has really made me think.

Lives are precious. They deserve to be acknowledged, remembered, and celebrated.

One of the greatest privileges of being a celebrant is discovering the unique story behind every life I have the honour of sharing.

Not every life has been easy. Some have been affected by heartbreak or unimaginable challenges. But every life is so much more than the difficult chapters.

It’s the little things that families remember most, the Christmas traditions that happened every year, the bedtime routines that made children feel safe, the Saturday night takeaway in front of the television, the sayings that still make everyone smile.

These are the moments that become treasured memories. They are the threads that weave a life together and the reasons someone will always be loved and remembered.

Every story deserves to be told.
