Thousands of balloons… and my living room basically disappeared. 😂🌵

This was the beginning of KIDCHELLA Olivia’s 11th birthday at the beautiful Barnfields wedding and events venue in Halstead, Essex.

And when I say this was BIG… I mean BIG.

Thousands of balloons delivered from Balonevi FedEx all the way from Turkey 🇹🇷.
Thank you so much you guys are absolutely amazing. The colours are stunning as always😍 don’t you agree.

My sailboards needed to be sanded and painted, beautiful balloon colours to prepare and double stuff and tie balloon after balloon to inflate.

At one point there were so many balloons in my house I literally couldn’t even get to the back door! 😂 as you will see in this carousel.

But this is the part you don’t always see when you look at a finished luxury balloon installation.

The planning.

The preparation.

The many days and many hours of inflating, and prep the very late nights and early mornings.

The designing, of my vision to become a reality on site at the event. making all the hard work so worth it.🥹

The sheer amount of work that goes into creating something completely bespoke.

And this was only the beginning…

Some moments deserve to be celebrated… even if I can’t tell you the full story just yet. 🤭

I had a very special and exciting visitor with a camera, lots of questions and a moment I’ll never forget.

That’s all I can say for now…

Just know that by the end of summer, everything will make sense, and I honestly can’t wait to share it with you.

The details are where the magic lives…

Sometimes it’s not the giant balloon arch that people remember…

It’s the tiny details.

The florals and foliage tucked between the balloons.
The colour palette chosen to match the brand.
Pops of colour, how shiny the balloons were and stayed throughout the festival.
The finishing touches.
The little moments people stop to admire and photograph without even realising why they love it.

Every balloon, every flower and every other details, including my personalise balloon welcome easel .
Makes me feel incredibly proud of what I created, I’ll the hard work I put in behind the scenes of many days of prep. When I really should have been resting.!

To ensure the two balloon displays I created were both unique and visually stunning, and I definitely feel that I achieve my goal that I set out to do 🎉😊

Creating big installations like this is about so much more than balloons. It’s about creating an experience, when people see my balloon displays for the first time

This is my favourite part.

Watching people stop, smile and make memories with something I’ve created.

That’s what it’s all about. 💛 So many days prep and hours went into creating this photo balloon frame display..

Behind Every Display Is a Challenge or 2 👀……..

Not every installation goes to plan… and that’s all part of the job! The intense sun an extreme hot weather we have been experiencing.

It definitely played a major challenging factor as with all outside balloon displays.
In hot weather. Location is also very important, in terms of is the ground solid not uneven, Is it safe?
It’s very important here to manage your clients expectations on outdoor installs.

A site visit with the organiser Myra, deciding on the perfect location, and yes… two trips because the welcome easel wouldn’t fit in the car! 😂 surprisingly I know because I am the queen of Tetris but on this occasion I was too hot to tired and two trips made sense as the venue was only 15 minutes from my house.
